I have listened to various atmospheric artists in the past and always thought it would be a good genre to learn. I sub’d to your channel to see what you were offering. I watched a few and liked the instruction you gave. My question for you is how do I start learning this stuff? I play guitar already and am well acquainted with theory but watching you create all the layers in some of your songs gets me very confused. Any recommended road maps?
How do you make the looper sound so good? On mine, the more stuff i add on a loop, the more blurry it gets, to the point where i can’t hear some of the stuff i’ve put on it!
I use a looper that has 3 different channels, so sometimes it's great to have independent control on your loops to fine tune the volume. But honestly, it's all in the way you play it. You have to listen to what is already recorded and adjust the velocity of your picking or chord swells to fit what's already there. Looping is an art that takes practice, for sure, I was not really good when I first started!
Thanks for this trick...never thought about it..🤘🏼
Ah this is a great lesson! Thanks for sharing your knowledge, Antoine.
My pleasure!
Awesome! 4:30 made me wanna sing "Boys don't cry" ;-)
Just learned something... again! Merci Antoine
Nice tones, Antione!!
Great lesson. Thanks 👍
Awesome lesson! 👏
*mind blown*
Beautiful tutorial. Could you also make a video which talks about distortion tones for leads used in ambient songs?

Nice.
Great video, cool technique! Looking forward to sitting down with your mini course. What effects/pedals did you use here?
Thanks :-) I'm using Delay (Strymon Timeline) and Reverb (Neunaber Immerse Mk II)
