I love you channel and your vibe. Just found this gem a few days ago. Such a great personality man kind of reminds me of a Bob Ross of ambient guitar drone.
Hey MAN , -- YOU NAILED IT ‼‼‼ I happen to ” try “ to paint using the BOB ROSS method…. You couldn’t have made a more “ Perfect Analogy ‼‼ Bill is so - laid back , And has a very captivating voice tone- along with the beautiful music he produces and shares with us all ‼ I also just recently found this channel….. now I’m hooked ‼ Have a great weekend‼ Richard
Just started doing stuff like this with chords on my SG, Walrus Slo Pedal (in Rise mode) and Reaper with pitch changes. Just sent for an Ernie Ball volume pedal. 😊
I love it! Thanks! When I recently wanted to add some ambient guitar to my meditation sessions I added some layers and layers, playing more and more notes. Then I discovered your channel and your music. I realised that the less I do the best it sound relaxing. I have to improve my sound but I'm on the way! Thanks so much 😊🙏❤️
I would like if you talk about the boss dd20 , I know it's pretty old , but I think would be great to do ambient guitar, especially frippertronics... you know I live in a country with absurd inflation, and dd20 is a (almost only ) option of pedal with 20+ seconds of delay ... I'm subscribed and love the channel by a long time ...
Thanks for another lovely piece, Bill. Could you please post the link to the tutorial you mentioned in the captions? Always eager to learn more about your process. Pete
I would really love to hear an honest conversation regarding the Ebow, the Joyo, and the AEON. People seem to love the Ebow but then turn around and say they are now on their 4th or 5th one because they keep falling apart. Others say after they get used to the Joyo or AEON that they work just as good. I'm not really sure I believe that. Where is the balance? By the cheap one and hope I get used to it, or buy the $100 one over and over again? Are there any users here that have the cheaper ones that can really say they work well if you take the time to learn it?
Hey Bryant. I did an unsponsored comparison between the 3: ruclips.net/video/p7NeaTySmw0/видео.html Cliff Notes version: EBow and Joyo win out. Aeon not so much.
@@chordsoforion thanks. I remember when you did that video. I am wondering if your results are because those two have the same shape and that you have been using that shape for years? Also is the joyo going to hold up better than the ebow? Why are there so many people saying they are not durable? It's not like we are to play golf with it.
@@chordsoforion I guess what I was meant to say that, Quintessence should also thicken the sound like Pitch Fork since it's creating other harmonies. Doesn't the Quintessence has some polyphonic settings? Like the 3rd-6th for example? That creates two separate harmonics right? I'd love to watch a comparison video between the Pitch Fork (plus) and the Quintessence, playing on the same musical piece just to feel out the difference between those two types of pedals. I'm asking because I plan to buy one but I'm not sure if I should get a pitch shifter or a harmoniser.
Bill, you took this guitar to task on fit and finish when you reviewed it, but you've used it on a bunch of videos since, so I guess the pros outweigh the cons?
Indeed. The fit and finish issues do not affect the playability or the sound. Also, it became much more usable to me when I put heavy strings on it and tuned down to C#.
What a really fantastic study in the beauty of simplicity.
Thanks Tom!
Well done. Awesome piece for something really needed in this wicked world
The beauty of keeping it simple…thank you for the reminder !

5, 4, 1, flat 7. I sometimes wonder what it is about these intervals that makes such beautiful music, regardless of the genre.
No 3rds, not happy, not sad. Perfectly meditative.
Beautiful work Bill. I think I'll try this four note concept in a future ambient guitar piece I do. Thank you for sharin' this helpful tip
Beautiful calming resonance 🙌

@Nicolas Dubar…. If there was ever a fitting place to use the expression “less is more”, it’s ambient guitar.
It usually takes little words (notes) to say deep things.
Beautiful, I 'll have to try this!
You soothed my soul Bill..🙏
Thank you brother.
Amazing looking guitar
Really needed that, danke 🙏
Thank you!
keep it simple 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Beautiful 🎶
Thanks!
You're very welcome, and happy to see more original pieces mixed in with the demos🎶

So sorry and thanks for the reminder! ruclips.net/video/VmugDwAKZ-o/видео.html
What would be a good Drone note to play this over Bill?
Nice 👍
Tidy darts :)

It is sound like you watch plane crash in front of your eyes at depressive gray cloud, you can't do nothing but freze and shiver

I've had an elbow around for years, don't use it much, but it still works fine.

I bought a Soundstone, didn't really like it. It was super inexpensive though!
Instead of the Pitch Fork, would a harmoniser like the Quintessence give the same effect?
No. Just did a video comparing harmonizer pedals. They are no straight pitch shifters and are not polyphonic. ruclips.net/video/aPK5W_RlZrM/видео.html

My Ditto 4X made a loud pop - now it’s a brick. How long are those things supposed to last?
I have had mine since 2014 or 2015. You might want to contact tech support to see if there is a reset sequence.
😌💜☮️
Does it matter which 4 notes?
Nope. As long as they sound good to you!
