very nostalgic. i was 7 years old at the time. it's shocking what the city centre has become today
Those were the days my friend we thought theyed never end but they did
Excellent period footage, and in some ways exciting and optimistic. Many aspects of these constructions remain in Coventry today, all be it lost in what is now Homogenous Architecture.
Fabulous look back. So many memories 😊
I was 6mths old in Coventry - Wood End at that time. A few years later we moved to Canley and mum started working in the Wimpy round cafê.
As a kid we use to try and catch the pigeons in the late 60's to take home and keep as pets.
Coventry full of English people and no students to be seen.
How true !!!!
I was just born then. Seemed really modern for the time.
So what?
