- Hi everyone, this video is showing you the lunch options that were available to us while we were on board the MSC Virtuosa in May 2024. We went on the 2 day cruise to Cherbourg from Southampton.
The food was amazing and we all loved it. There was a big selection of food available and something for everyone.
From burgers, wraps, stews, rice, fries, pizza, pasta, salad, fried chicken etc and desserts were a selection of mini cakes, panna cotta and fruit.
We are a family of 4 and all like different stuff, Andrew is big on his spices, while Milyssa loves a salad and Lleyton likes to try new foods while keeping to chicken and chips. Me am a hard one as there is so much I can’t eat due to my Crohn’s but I never struggled on board the MSC.

Hi Jon, yes I have been on Disney, Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Virgin Voyages and MSC, also many moons ago Ocean Village which no longer exists. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience on a MSC, which ship was it you were on?
@@rachelsweeney513 I went on the virtuosa, lovely ship I just thought the food was tasteless, and the service not great and to busy, but because it was my first cruise I was still taking it all in so didn’t pay much attention because I was in the moment, I then went on p&O Ventura and although the ship was no where near as modern as virtuosa, it had a lot better service and food was a better standard, but THEN I went princess sky and jeez it blew us away, it was amazing the difference between the 2 was massive, sorry to be a negative Nancy but going on other ships I think msc are down my pecking order! You need to give sky princess a try 👍
@@jonhughes2346 we are a family of 4 and completely loved the food so it’s surprising but not everyone has the same tastes. It was busy at times so I can understand with the service. On this ship we preferred the evening main dinning room food over the likes of carnival. Oh this is so good to hear as we are on the Princess sky in October so excited for this one. We are on another MSC in April but different ship so it will be good to see if there is a difference or if the food has changed. Our top favourite so far is the Disney Magic 😊
@@rachelsweeney513 i can’t dislike it that much tbf because we are going again in October (a good deal)🤣🤣, and then feb we are on the new one from Rome, so it will be good to compare the both, I hope you enjoy sky (I’m certain you will) maybe it might top your cruise list😝! Hi 👋🏻 I didn’t particularly look for Vegan options, sorry. But I did feel there was a very large range of different items and I am sure they will cater for Vegans. The cheeseless pizzas made my weekend lol 😂
