As I Lay Dying were one of the few metal bands in this day and age that never made a bad record. Nick and Phil are two of the best guitarists in metal today. They truly outdo themselves every time. Their riffs and solos are always fresh and exciting to hear with every new album. The new Wovenwar record is going to be just as great as any past As I Lay Dying record and better.
I agree Nick and Phil are amazing guitarist. But the singer they got for wovenwar (shane) sucks bro. He just doesn't fit in with their style. Well doesn't matter anyways now cause As I Lay Dying are back
Woah, much heavier than I expected. This album somehow seems to be better than Awakened. Guitar riffs are so much more angrier and harmonious. Screaming along the cleans is quite balanced. Looks like we are in for a good summer.
This is sounding pretty good and it's nice to see the guys putting out new stuff. When did Phil start doing such awesome solos if that was indeed a solo that I saw at 1:09.
To all of the asild guys you have been one of my favorite bands of all time. This new singer just is not the best choice. I like music with singing and screaming but his voice is just not you guys at all. And no I'm not saying that bc of Tim's vocal range either. Just feel like he doesn't go with the instruments being played behind him. This coming from a person who used to do lead vocals for a metal band. I know a lil bit of what im talking about
All Rise is pretty average/below average IMO but we will see how the album is. The short bit of song at the end sounds 10 times better than the entirety of All Rise, so we will see.
