The missiles are orange so that it's hard too loose them. Fall apart wings are kinda cool for battle damage or crashing scenes. It's more like a kid toy.
I hated the wings popping off so much I glued them on hehe, the main improvement I'd make to the ghosthawk II is a two guns, I know it comes with a long boom n the side which could be a gun but there is only one of those and I prefer a minimum of two.
Great review. Ghost Hawk II appears to be similar in size to the Rattler. I was in fifth grade in '82, so GI Joe was my thing. This plane could have been a mid '80s release. Good sculpt, a nice "kid centric" play feature. I cant help but see the scene from RE Apocalypse as the Umbrella soldiers attacked the roof top. Good size, good coloring, minus missiles and bombs. I gave up on collecting GI Joe around POC due to short ships, Hasbro greed, and poor logistics. I enjoy your channel. Thank you! Side note, my 10 year old discovered ARAH cartoons and wants toys...way to go Hasbro; you killed an entire IP!
I think it looks kinda cool, the head swap made a really cool fig, like the pilot head. over all I think wave 2 and 3 of this line are badass! wave one was so so. Dont worry guys hasbro did those t crotch figs in joe vs cobra and quickly changed i think the same is gonna happen here and were already seeing it, with the ultimate figures
The string on my Ghosthawk II stays tight. You just need to pull till the harness inside is really attached to the hole and than use the hook to pass the rope still making it tight and then peg the pulley handler to the centerline of the structure near the connection of the tail with the main body. The decals have some problems. many are not translucent and some are not at the right size or cut to be placed in the vehicle. The cockpit is a dull green all over it with minimum details and aside from two little peg like joysticks there are no contrllers for the figure articulation that came with the toy. The Duke's head is actually a retooling of the Steel Brigade Delta driver/pilot from 30th anniversary and GIJCC figure.
Pixel Dan, can't you just pull the string tighter inside the plane hatch and let it sit wound up in there instead of looping it around the back? For storage purposes that would hide it but then when you want to use the feature you pull it out of the back. These do look really cheap though. Nice review as always =].
They are cutting the cost for them not for us ha, it's called higher profits. Colors do look a lot like a vintage vehicle. Will be a good thing for people that wanted that Steel Brigade Delta head.
Good review! You would think a billion dollar global business would make these figures better in the detail and articulated categories especially since the figures alone have gone up $10 a pop!
If Hasbro really wants to save money, than just sell the vehicles without including any G.I. Joe figure, because we do have an opition to buy a "G.I. Joe: Retalition" figure to pilot the vehicle.
Not a bad looking jet but at 25 bucks you better include an new mold/articulated figure and they just didn't. I'll wait till these pop at TJMaxx or Marshalls for 10 to 12 bucks each.
Yeah, I still have my Kenner toys of "one time assembly". Which can't come apart and go back in the box. There are bad in good and good in bad I guess. Just stay open minded.
why is it all the reviews of the new gi joe toys have the same problem, cheaply made? falling apart? it makes no sense that these toys would be so badly made?
THANKS FOR THE IN DEPTH REVIEW! THIS IS ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE RETALIATION TOYS/VEHICLES THAT I WON'T BUY! THIS VEHICLE IS CRAPTASTIC IN MY OPINION! THE DRIVER HAS FIVE POINTS OF ARTICULATION! -ARE YOU KIDDING ME HASBRO? REALLY? HASBRO, YOU ARE PISSING PEOPLE OFF TO THE POINT OF NO RETURN WITH THESE SO CALLED COST CUTTING SAVING MEASURES!
It's 2019 and it's still a piece of crap. You should have seen some of the amazing concept artwork. It was never translated to screen or to a toy. That thing looks like an afterthought. It's a helicopter with wings.

Finally, something to use as the resolute hypersonic transports

combining the body of duke and the head of the pilot(duke) looks like an awesome gi joe army builder.
The Joes use missles filled with sunny delight? Awesome!
I don't collect action figures but I find myself watching every single video you post.
Weirdo

Roadblock has a Arashikage tattoo.
I wonder why.
Gi joe retaliation mouse figure has a bonus part for this vehicle
it lookslike the vehicle they use for transport in the first movie, just green instead of silver

Cool review
They probably called it Duke in hopes of selling more of the vehicle.

Love it
You Hook The Slide To The Center Scaffolding In The Tail.
What a missed opportunity for a modern Rattler.
I got night fox it was one of him I bot him yesterday

over priced cheap junk.
it look more like a STEEL BRIGADE then a duke
wow you changed your username! like it. :D
1. The missiles should be gray. 2. THAT IS NOT DUKE!
Ghost Hawk Tuah
As the majority of the vehicles in this line it sucks. The only more or less ok is the hiss tank. At least some of the figures are ok or quite good.
It open from the bottom becaues they drop don that way it's in the movie
Looks like a dollar store toy... glad I bought one :(
that movie should have 20 minutes of zip lines
GO JOE!
️🥇👍👍

it looks like a TMNT Aircraft...
Lol, what a piece of junk. Cheap, generic toys with the "GIJOE" label printed on the box.

Why is it that the heads of these pilots look good but the figures are lame.

Bootleg.
Hasbro has done it again... disappointed.
GARBAGE, not GiJoe
