A very important feature as a result of thousands of years of civilization. It is an example of what real democracy should look like. Not just 1 person 1 vote but also their voices and recomendations of what is good for the country is more important. When it is implemented, it will resonate among the people and everyone feel happy that they are in safe hands. I think that is why more than 90% of it's people approves of their government.

Democracy in China is about practising it by making lives better for the people and is constantly changing. People's voices are heard, debated at grassroot, proposals submitted via representatives and submitted to the NPC to be reviewed and made into law.
In the US and most Western countries, democracy is just an ideology and only applied to serve the interest of ruling elites and are weaponized to maintain US hegemony. The right to vote doesn't change anything for the betterment of the people and the candidate with the best rhetoric will win the election and lead the country into decline. Voters console themselves by voting the other party in the next election and are proud that they get to call their leaders names. At the end of the day, the people only have the freedom for name calling and to vote for the other side of the coin and the process is repeated every election cycle. People are happy to jump out of the frying pan into the fire and then back into the frying pan while the ruling elites get richer and richer. Talk about ignorance, delusional, asininity and stupidity 😊.

When I hear the word democracy, I think of the wars waged by some "beacons of democracy". Democracy is a revolting word nowadays.

    • @ddv267
      @ddv267 4 дня назад

Exactly! Their democracy only means freedom to vote their leaders directly, but the people don't feel that their government really works for them. Democracy's freedom of speech, but they themselves keep censoring dissidents on every way. Liberation for the oppressed by Democracy, but they kill so many civilians through wars (they use wars as a free pass to destroy a country). Democracy is the truth, but they keep lying about China and many other things. Democracy has critical thinking, but they manipulate their people to become sheeps themselves. Democracy is peaceful, but they drop Uranium/AgentOrange on civilians, kill MILLIONS in the name of it all, countless atrocities. Democracy helps people, but they steal oil&gold from the people they supposed to help. Democracy means development, but they use sanctions & embargoes to impoverish others. Democracy stands for free trade, but they put dozens of sanctions and weaponize it to oppress others. Democracy stands for peace, but they use violence to get what they want (like during the HK protests). Too many examples to write them all here. Now you understand why their type of democracy can be called as
      Fake Democracy
      DemocracyHypocrisy
      DemoNcracy
      DemocraZy
      DeMOCKracy etc
They give democracy a bad name! China is not a threat to democracy, but their own democracy is a treat of democracy.

The true democracy is that the system is able to put all the heads together to make improvements and change the quality of people's lives. In the legislative process, the rational voices of different classes can be heard and become law rather than wasting time on bipolar or multipolar political idealogy and disputes.

  • @khojendra8832

Democracy means rule of people, not representation of people. Representational democracy as adopted by west is an elected dictatorship for elected term. People are powerless for the elected period. These are democracies for only a day in 4-5 years. Bicameral Westminster system, adopted by former UK colonies are even worse and should not be called democracy.
Chinese system feels more closer to pure democracy, where people participate in decision making rather than just voting. Does voting even matter if it is not going to make any difference?
    IMHO, A government must
    - improve life of its people
    - protect human rights and fundamental rights
    - establish rule of law with equality
    - define and provide basic necessities to its people

  • @maniaouri2146

the bottom line is that in the west they focus in getting as many more voters they can for their political party to win next elections.
but in China they focus in bettering the life of citizen and China's extraordinary fast development is a living proof that they are succesfull in bringing prosperity to their citizens , unlike in the west the opposite happens.

There is "more" democracy in China than in USA, where just the richest 0.01% can afford to do politics and they have the power to cover the media shaping the opinions.
In China the starting main principles are meritocracy and moral standing, as XI Jin Ping him self testify, and according to a long lasting Chinese tradition.
In China active politics is among people, and almost 10% of population of any social conditions are active in politics. So more democracy in China, because there is a closer relation to the average social status of the Chinese people and Chinese society.

  • @waltbroedner4754
    @waltbroedner4754 2 дня назад +1

I HOPE NOT!!!! Democracy is a wet dream, no such thing. China has always required all their administrators to be well educated in the art of governing. Read Socrates.
In Plato's "Republic," Socrates often uses the analogy of a ship's captain to criticize democracy, comparing the state to a vessel where the majority of passengers (citizens) are not skilled navigators but believe they have the right to steer, while the true captain (a philosopher-king with expert knowledge) is ignored or even overpowered by the clamoring crew, leading to a potentially disastrous course due to lack of expertise; essentially arguing that allowing the unqualified masses to rule is like letting the passengers on a ship decide the direction without a skilled captain at the helm.
In other words a cook should cook, a waitress should serve customers, an electrician should set wires, a carpenter should make wooden chairs, etc, and actors should stay in Hollywood. They do not belong in Congress, or in the Supreme Court, or in the executive branch.

The question is a loaded question, a dangerously loaded question. Is there democracy in China? is a greatly abbreviated question. The truth emerges when the question is filled out, fleshed out, with the meaning of the word, democracy. Who's meaning are we talking about? The word democracy has lots of meanings all around the world. They're like the word Christianity. Exactly who's Christianity are you talking about? Some forms of Christianity are nothing more than devil worship. Some forms of Christianity are so high-minded that the people supposedly worshiping according to those forms have absolutely no hope of living up to the tenants of those forms. Take the Christianity of America for example. The ten commandments in that Christianity are essentially impossible to follow. Why? Because they all go against the principles of capitalism, and the US cowboy mentality of doing whatever in the hell you want whenever you want to do it wherever you want to do it. Word games, wordplay, is the real king. Whatever words are used, different words with slightly different meanings can be substituted for them. A word like ethics, for example, had a pure meaning centuries ago. The meaning was changed by addition of a simple word in front of the word ethics. That word? Situational. So we now have situational ethics, which basically means do whatever in the hell suits your purpose, and sleep peacefully at night after doing so.

What matters is not the system what matters is the qualities of the leadership. Just like in a democracy millions have to just suck up what the government that is in power does, so it is in any other system. Is it not American policy to overthrow other nations” governments? Then what does it matter what system it is? The question is how does democracy in other nations benefit Americans and British? The answer I think is they can then bring their own puppet that they can manipulate forward and use their propaganda for mass formation of the citizens and voila they rule the world! In other words Democracy = American British rule.

At any meeting where choices have to be made there are at least two types: 1) those to vote on an issue so it favours them, 2) those for vote on issues the benefit the majority. Too often there are votes on issues without something more thought out, e.g. If we vote yes, for this but in scenarios: a, b, c, etc. there should be some exceptions. 💡

See how many country already chaos because of freedom. China democracy is for the people prove us 90% support by the people. USA sucks less than 60% . How many democracy country are in protest after election? Democracy mean minorities had to follow majority right. Why after lost still protest and harm public. Are this democracy.
