Awww...I just found your channel! Fourty eight year old CVT that just started in the field only 4 years ago. Was an artist before and still one in my spare time. You are an inspiration and so informative. Love your channel. Wish you the best and think you are so brave. I know this is scary, but life and change are entertwined. Glad you are being particular and not settling. I feel as a veterinary nurse that if we all feel this way and act on that thought our field will improve. Looking forward to your videos in Louisiana! I've recently went from working with an independent practice that unfortunately was not a training practice so I could not get registered with them so I moved far away from home and my family to a large company that will put me through school to become registered and while the job is fine, it's a lot less hands in than I'm used to and I'm finding the whole transition very hard, I even considered a career change even though animals and veterinary medicine is my passion. But I've just found your videos and you have already made me remember what I'm doing this for and where I want to be at the end so thank you so much.

I am so excited for you! I definitely know how that is because me just taking a leap of faith going to school to be an RVT with no medical background was extremely hard for me and for being out of school so long. I don't like going out of my comfort zone at all, failing sometimes or just trying something new in. So I definitely know where you are coming from. BUTTTTT you are so beautiful, kind heated and passionate with what you do any clinic will be lucky to have you there. I hope to be as good as you some day with experience and I wish you all the best of luck and love!
Video idea: I am currently in anesthesia and analgesia right now so I am very interested in like the drugs for premeds, inducing and maintaining all of that. Maybe the actual intubating and all that, the anesthesia machine itself. We have finals coming in the first two weeks of january so anything to help. I am really nervous about the lab final, we call them practicals or practicums. Thats where you are graded on telling them things, demonstrations in front of the teachers. its nerve racking. Anyways, sorry for the long message.

I always knew I wanted to be a nurse but didn't really want to deal with humans lol ( not to sound harsh ). I have 3 little babies of my own and I couldn't imagine life without them. I want to go into veterinary medicine but only have an AA in English. I was thinking of getting a vet tech license then working as that until I get into veterinary school. I was wondering if you had any tips/suggestions such as what classes to take? what classes can I take at the community college level? is it true that getting a job as a vet tech requires experience before you ever get in the door?
It sucks to leave your friends behind but you have to move some were else. to follow your pashing.

I have such a random question I’m not sure if you’ll see it or not, but! I graduated high school in 2016 and I’m getting ready to start a technical school in August to be a certified vet assistant and after I graduate the tech school I plan to continue on to be a Tech. That being said what is your job title? Are you a tech? Or are you going to school to be a Vet? I really want to continue on to be a vet but I have no idea what to do or where to start 😅
