It didn't take balls to call pedophilia despicable. It would take balls to point out how Jews spear head these degenerate movements. From establishing porn, to open borders, even transgenderism. If you have the intellectual honesty, then I want you to look up "Magnus Herschfeld". He was the father of transgenderism. The Hitler youth marched onto his campus, burned his material, and that's the infamous book burning. They did the right thing. Ban these people. Use force. That takes balls.

I have to say, this is what has made Jewish and non-Jewish cultures difficult to live with one another. The philosophy is, “to each his own as long as they don’t hurt anyone else“. This philosophy is evil; in both Christian and Muslim eyes, because, these two religions recognize there is an ideal that God wants of us, and we try to ascribe to it. The Jewish brain, on the other hand, does not see the world this way, but he’s more concerned about behavior; which the “to each his own“ encourages. It is very difficult for those cultures, who are more idealistic, to live with the Jew, who is more behaviourist and his understanding of the world.

@@ohnoyce It's a little bit more nuanced than that. Sometimes, people have fleeting sinful thoughts. In other words, sometimes we might have a sinful thought that passes by but then dissipates. That in of itself is not sinful. Now, let's say you have lustful thoughts about a girl you like. If you have these thoughts intially but don't "fuel the fire", nothing wrong has happened. Yet, if you indulge in these thoughts to the point it begins to interfere with your daily life, that's when these thoughts start becoming an issue. Furthermore, if you ACT on these thoughts, that's when it becomes an even greater issue. Sinful thoughts can be sinful in of themselves, but that depends on A) How much they feed those thoughts B) If it starts interfering with their daily life C) They act on these thoughts.

If you are using it to try to satiate some kind of bloodlust or hatred, then I would say it's wrong just as it is wrong people use animated porn to try to satiate some type of sexual desire. It all depends on what the intent is for watching.

@@Jimmy-iy9pl the purpose of porn is voyeurism - which is sexually illicit, yes. (That can be discussed further, but hopefully it's fairly self-evident.)
Depictions of violence, however, are not necessarily revenge fantasies created for evil intent. In fact, most depictions of violence in fiction are used to create a compelling story and typically are used to illustrate some virtue or desirable quality that must overcome some oppositional vice.
GTA and other media that encourage mindless slaughter of innocent civilians are not necessarily going to lead to increased violence in the world, but they are not good or moral.

What happens in our internal lives is very important. Frankly this realization is what's helped me go from being completely nihilistic to a God-fearing Christian.
It's not even entirely about how one behaves and acts following an internal sin that matters. Frankly I think men who watch a lot of porn aren't generally more rapey or even more promiscuous. Quite the opposite in fact - it seems more likely to make them impotent and uninterested in actual sexual partners or romance.
But the act of watching porn or masturbating is of course a sin. It makes you less virtuous, it denies God and the world the better version of yourself that you could have been.
What's going on in the individual internal lives of everybody in any community is so important and has a lot to do with how edifying or destructive the entire culture they're in becomes.
I'm surprised any other self styles conservative could think differently. Is solitary prayer good and important? Is that an "act" ? I suppose Praguer might say it isn't but he, I think, would be wrong.
We're way more connected than we even realize. If you're bringing more and more sin into your life, and thus into the lives of those around you, and the community, and the world - the effects that has are countless and hard to wrap our heads around. They are metaphysical, even. We can see, feel and experience this firsthand.
Surely that's why our Lord warned us against this sort of sin.

"I'm thrilled he's not acting it out. That's big."
As someone still struggling with lust who succumbs to porn, this quote sticks out to me. There is a certain nobleness in trying to keep your sin to yourself and not hurting other people. I could be going out sleeping with women personally and playing with their hearts, but I don't. It's still a dangerous desire that needs sanctification, but "give the devil his due" so to speak. One is clearly less evil, but again, both still desperately need sanctification.
As well, Prager made a good point about thoughts. I have many intrusive thoughts that disturb me and are completely opposite to my usual moral code. I would never act them out, and yet they still pop into my head. Why is this? I do not know. Again, perhaps it is underlying imperfection and the stain of sin that my brain twists these ways, but I would actually praise a person for having such an urge and refusing to act on that urge. Isn't that nobleness in its purest form?
Choosing to watch others' bodies for your own personal pleasure is not noble or selfless. It's actually technically selfish, and that does not produce betterment. Lot of interesting thoughts here. Turn to the Lord who loves you! ❤✝️

Well if it's actual porn and not animated then yes women are being used. As for intrusive thoughts, some may be demonic suggestions, some may be the flesh. If there is something you can't keep yourself from doing there is likely a spirit of addiction involved that needs to be repented of and renounced, often repeatedly. Frequent confession is a good step toward freedom and deliverance but I would encourage you to seek guidance on getting free and staying free from a priest, spiritual director, or lay deliverance minister. Porn opens doors to the enemy that need to be shut. Anyone in this situation should not go it alone. If you are married, please seek help asap. That's what a pro-choice person told me, " It doesn't hurt anyone, so why is it wrong." Well, abortion kills a child, and porn violates and hurts all true, holy beauty of womanhood. But, as the Bible says, if a man lusts in his heart, he has already committed adultery. In the end, it hurts your soul. Has anyone got me a list of sins that don't directly hurt people, but maybe indirectly. It all still hurts the soul. Witch Craft, Drunkenness, Indulging, excessive money, lying in certain circumstances, etc. If it doesn't hurt anyone you can physically see, it hurts your relationship with Jesus.

Largely the Japanese. It’s a hyper sexualized society when it comes to accepting degeneracy. The concept of fornication and adultery is lost on most Japanese people today. A good example is how mainstream animation companies will make shows for kids and teens as well as pornography for adults. It wasn’t always like that, but they had no moral authority pushing back against it once the sexual revolution swept across the modern world.
