Rule #1 of watching Supernatural is don't get too attached to a character, lol. It's still a bummer how they killed off Rufus though.
A part of me wish the Samuel and Campbell family was resolved in a later season, it just felt rushed here to get a quick resolve
I would ABSOLUTELY watch a Bobby/Rufus spin-off. 1000%.
I NEED IT lol
Without a doubt a Bobby/Rufus spin-off would have been a hit. Even a reboot now casting younger actors in the roles would fly, I'm sure. But it will never happen because this is the most self-sabotaging show when it comes to spin-offs. No more about that because - spoilers. Just never get your hopes up.
Man, the face you made when Rufus was stabbed. This show and the walking dead taught me that you can't get to close to characters.
First, a Bobby/Rufus spinoff was 1 of 2 spinoff ideas supported by large parts of the fandom. Sadly we got neither.
Second, there's a reason that any time a character I love returned on this show the abject fear for their safety warred with the excitement of seeing them. I see you're starting to understand that response 😅
A**hole grandpa Samuel should've gone earlier, the only reason he was on this episode was to die
Sad for Rufus but thank god Samuel is gone lmao
R.I.P Rufus & Gwen...
Good riddance Bad Grandpa Sam.
While the episode was good there was a miss opportunity with Bobby & Sam. Last we saw of Bobby he was still being bitter towards Sam, it would’ve made more sense for him to still be bitter but let go of it after the events of this episode and apologize to Sam would’ve made more sense than him getting over it off screen
Nobody probably even told Sam that ''he'' tried to gut Bobby because triggering any memory before Sam's wall is a bad idea. And forgiving Sam for something he literally did not do makes no sense, as soulless sam was literally an entirely different person with his own motivations and needs. Soulless Sam was like a reverse possession: instead of having something evil inside of him making him act up, it was because Sam was *missing* the goodness of himself that he tried to kill Bobby.
@@Da1337Man Look I agree Bobby being mad at Sam for what Soulless Sam did to him was stupid, but my version would've made more sense as to how they resolved it.
So sad for Rufus😢
Ayy this is Supernatural, sounds like you’re starting to get it…once you start loving a character then BAM! Killed off
Bobby and Rufus are the perfect Sam and Dean predecessors. Their dynamic is very simmilar to that of the brothers. And yes a Rufus-Bobby prequel spin-off would have been amazing and probably more watched than "The Winchesters". But somehow this show mannages to eliminate the best ideas for a follow-up during it's own run.
Man I love Bobby and Rufus. Always have. They are the older cranky version of Sam and Dean Hunting 😂 I think this is a great episode. Sam killing Samual I was surprised like whaa haha
Have u ever watched the boys if not it’ll be a good show for u to react to
Samuel lasted long enough tho. Bye
I loved Rufus so much. He stole every scene he was in. A younger Bobby/Rufus wouldn't be the same to me. It was the actors that made them great. Gwen was the only decent Campbell of that bunch. The riff between Bobby & Rufus-- Bobby decided to bring in Rufus' daughter as the third member of the team on a case. This was against Rufus' knowledge and led to a tragic turn of events. Before the monster hunters could slay the creature, Rufus' daughter was killed. This was revealed in the book Supernatural: Bobby Singer's Guide to Hunting, which is regarded as official canon.
RIP Rufus 😢💔
The “suits” send notes to the producers with what they want to see. The show is too dark, brighten it up was one of those notes.
Sam killing Samuel was cold asf lol
So Sam killing his namesake dies feel poetic despite him having no memory of him at the moment
you're right, a spin off with a young Rufus and Bobby would totally work. Start with Bobby having to kill his wife then hooks up with Rufus and learns to hunt. Someone needs to pitch it to Jensen as his next project since stupid cw cancelled the Winchesters.
Yeah, they clearly wanted a bit of a clean slate for characters. It was a curious decision to get rid of Rufus mid season. He was a great side character and wish he got more opportunity to shine
Cedar Point is a super fun place, it was my first amusement park I ever visited! I enjoyed this episode.
Isn't Balthazar the name of one of the 3 wise men/ magi in the nativity scene ..... and Cole's demon name in Charmed
Yes. Casper, Melchior and Balthazar ^^
The last episode of supernatural everyone spoiler alert be prepared grab tissues.
If you're talking about 15x20 agreed i was a sobbing mess 😂😂
Awww why did you have to mention spinoff??? I had finally forgotten about the spinoff they did after this show of a young John and Mary. Gotta go rinse my eyes out with more bleach.
I started watching The Winchester series. I was only able to watch the first 3 or 4 episodes, as the show was boring!
To me rufus
A giant Appletini LoL 😂
Belts at is a demon in og charmed lol . Next episode is a good one .
The fact that they didn’t make a Bobby and Rufus spin-off will always be one of the biggest mistakes they ever made. Would’ve been so much better than all the other crap ideas and the pile of garbage that is “The Winchesters”
I really hated them killing Rufus. Felt like the show loved killing off anyone who the fans came to love, or anyone is the life of Sam and Dean.
The color tone of the show did change after season 5. It's changed a bit each season, as the studio kept pushing to lighten things up. I think that actually hurt the show. The color tone (or whatever it's called) contributes the the ambiance and the dark nature of the subject of the show, to me. Having things bright and sunny just doesn't lend itself to scary and dark themes.
