Note, it is an old school pedal, it has that old sound, but super moldable, I don't know what they did to build this sound, but it is very sensitive to the power source, for that reason you have to have an isolated source, to don't make noise
I forget exactly what it said but I was reading a review of this claiming the same issue about the depth, however when you are pushing the lower side of the eq and then try the depth, or perhaps with or without as much gain - plus the low eq controls- you might find the depth is more pronounced if those are being pushed more- not sure of course.
That sounds about right. I didn't spend a ton of time trying to figure it out, but I can absolutely see that being a needed thing when playing those piano-string guitars
Humbuckers tend to affect compression (there is more of it) their out put it not always higher than single coils 1, they are not P90's they are Jazz master pickups but yeh they are thinner than humbuckers for sure in sound, 2, P90's have one of the highest out out of any single coil, and have more out put than some humbuckers, and plenty of low end 3 I use MFD jumbos (basically a high out put Jazz Master style pick up, with more low end single coil) and they also have a higher out put than some humbuckes , I use it for metal sounds plenty heavy/good. I also own one of these pedals The pedal has a limited low end(unless you use the eq to boost bass), P90's have plenty of low end,
Possibly the worst guitar effect ever made. The high end on it is strong enough to rip your head off. A point to mention when you were testing the depth switch is that this was intended to be used in Stoner Doom bands who basically are in C standard at the highest tunings. Drop D ain't gonna cut it for that kind of music. Doesn't make that knob work any better, I just thought I'd let you know.
Hello. You did justice to this pedal. I have it permanently on my board at lower gain settings. It can be quite transparent and with nice high ends. Thing is with the eq that in a chain I believe the eq is place before the distortion. So you do not just ajust the distortion from the distortion knob but also from the eq knobs by pushing or not pushing the distortion. It is like 3 boosts in the pedal. I really like it.
I love to his entire era of DOD. Tom Cram and his team did some awesome stuff!
Thanks for pointing out the depth knob weirdness. Thought mine was broken when I picked it up.
Haha, glad to help. I've since picked up a Baritone, I should revisit this and see if it makes any more sense.

Really really enjoyed that last jam!
Thanks!! It was a lot of fun to put together
Just got one of these, let you know if I make things happen on the depth control!
I believe it adjusts the tightness of lower frequencies specifically for 7 and 8 string guitars.
Forget the pedal (that's really cool) were can I get those jellyfish that are on the desk
Looks like a few places sell it. Look up Jellyfish Aquarium. I originally saw it in the background of the Taskmaster tv show.

The hi gain settings are very noisy. Maybe its the guitar?
dude you need to go lower not just drop d think sabbath tuning like C# tuning. DooM tones but really good demo! i know you tried!
Seems to lack bass, maybe it's a P90 thing. Drive pedals always sound different with a higher output humbucker.

Nice, but can it get that Spirit In the Sky tone?
