Hi Michael I love watching your videos, they are so informative. I have one question regarding moissanite vs diamond comparison. I find that the difference is very hard to tell between round brilliant cuts, but in fancy shapes specifically pears and marquise I find that the moissanite looks flatter and not as sparkly as a diamond. (of course my reference point is from videos and not real life). Is that true and why would that be?
It'd be awesome if you compared the NEO Moissanite with the FAB brilliant cut, and maybe a natural diamond too. Since both aim to look as close to a diamond as they can!
Mya Moo That sounds like a great idea! We’ll do our best, but these comparison videos do take some time to create. In the meantime, you may hit up the website and inquire about any stones that you want to learn more about. One of our Jewelry Consultants will be more than happy to assist you. 😊 fireandbrilliance.com/pages/contact-us
I have a moissanite main stone, should i get diamond side stones or moissanite side stones? Will they look different from eachother if it was diamonds?
Thank you for enlighten me on difference between a M and D. The Marquise shape is my favorite. I dream of owning a ,2 ct . Marquise shape miosonite. I am not going to afford a Marquise Diamond. I may not afford a miosonite. Thank you for all explaination. How much would 2 ct M. miosonite cost. R.W.R.
I purchased a marquise cut Moissanite stone from you and was so very pleased until that is I had it mounted on my ring and now it looks like a cheap CZ, cloudy, no brilliance......why???
Sandy Brown Hi there, moissanite has more fire and brilliance than diamond so that shouldn’t be the case. How long has it been mounted? Clear stones (moissanite and diamonds) are very prone to staining so it may be coated with oils, sweat and lotion from the hand. If it’s been mounted for some time then we recommend to get it professionally cleaned. That should do the trick! Thank you! 😊
@@FireandBrilliance I just had the stone mounted and had only worn it one day when I noticed the lack of brilliance and the cloudiness. Could it have been broken while being set?? I took it to a jeweler who has been in business for many years so trusted him totally.
@@myralfoster6690 I think she is actually asking if moissanite has more sparkle, and thatbshe is asking for more understanding because she doesn't fully understand.
The only way a jeweler can tell a diamond from moisinite is because the diamond sparkles more. The best man-made diamond is harder to tell, even to a jeweler. I had over $500k worth of diamonds stolen. Not a happy camper!
@@myralfoster6690 Not true you can’t do the color D or E or F ONLY THE FRENCH COURBET DO THIS 3 COLORS , ONLY THIS 3 COLORS ......YOURS COLORS (e,f , ) ARE NOT CLEAN !!!!it is because you are CHEAP......YOU DO COLORS H I J ...... NOT GOD
@@odilefrappierdemontbenoitd7282 l'm sorry; I know what I'm talking about Odile Frappier. When you have over $500,000 of real diamond, that's anything but cheap. (And I don't appreciate being called cheap). Read anywhere on the internet, you'll find any jeweler will tell you moissnites are detectable because of it's sparkle. Most women don't want a moissnite, because it's so shiny, it's detectable to even the public. You don't invest in as many diamonds as I have & not know what to look for in a diamond. Cut, Colour, Clarity, & Carat. Actually, D & E are somewhat colorless. F has the best color value over D & E.
I appreciate the verbal information but it’s useless with those gloves. It’s youtube not a store. The white gloves are atrocious for comparison purposes. The stones are barely visible.

Marleine Gerges i feel the same way, for moissanite, oval-pear-radiant-marquise just dont convey that “shattered glass” look

how is it now I'm thinking of buying? what kind did you buy?
I hope F&B helped you rectify this.
So you ship to uk
Yes, we ship to the UK all of the time.
Showing stones against a white background is foolish. You should use a dark background. The contrast helps to appreciate the sparkle better!
Thé moissanite is more clear ? No , excuse me il am a french woman
What does being French got to do with it?

Diamond is the over all winner, it just sparkles more while moissanite looks and is actually cheap.
