I love the choices of colors you use! When everybody was painting white and brown and tan pieces how boring! I love the bright colors that you use! They are fantastic!
When i watch you, i keep saying to myself "Trust the process, trust the process..." and wow the result is always unexpectedly stunning. Great experience and taste you have. 👏👌
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! The moldings made a huge difference and transformed it! It looks like metalic details! The color is stunning! Thanks so much for sharing
Savings the Gold Scraps... Be still my curious heart! I'm always wondering if it's recyclable... And your Gold preference is always spot on! Awesome teacher bringing artistic liberty to others!
Ah Kacha, my very 1st teacher when I started my upcycling journey 2 yrs ago! Now it is a good side income and of course a hobby so I'll always be grateful for your easy to understand, beginner friendly tutorials, and for the fact you don't talk for 45 mins straight (the way some other artists do ) but you keep you videos concise and to the point! 😊 💛💚💜 As for the piece, I love that you chose an old, rather ugly, beat up piece. Those big, glamorous, richly carved furniture pieces are easy to make beautiful whichever colour we choose, because they're beautiful to begin with. But to take a small, modest or ugly unit and turn it into THAT - it is a much harder endeavour so ....yessssss, so beautifully done! Now I'm inspired to make something in gold and red 😊
It’s beautiful! You’re funny in your videos. I get a kick out of watching you create and the things you say and how you say them… just makes it fun. Thanks. Good color choice, too. 😊
Kacha, You are a masterful and imaginative furniture artist whose aesthetic is elegant 🌹One question I have is whether Gold leaf can be sealed with other sealants rather than wax? Thank You for sharing Your expertise ❤️
I don't really like to do gold leaf. It's a bit too gold. I guess I could use wax to tone it down, but I love Rub n Buff because I have more control over where that goes. It looks great on your projects, though.
Kacha, I love this! So much that I decided to use this technique on a plate shelf I got from Goodwill. I sanded it a little to get it smooth, cleaned with krud kutter then applied the adhesive glue, let it dry for 20 minutes and applied the gold leafing. Everything was going as planned. I finished up gold leafing and got busy with other things. I came back to it a couple hrs later and all was still fine. No sticky spots and leafing looked beautiful. Next you said to apply clear wax and this is when everything went south. I am now sitting in front of a sticky streaky mess! What happened?! Wish I could send picture.
I LOVE it when you talk to us, Kacha. You are delightful! I did not realize that resin moulds could break. Thank you for that information! Your choice of mould is excellent for this table. Bravo!! What if the moulds are too many? Can you just cut it to make it fit? Then, if you do that, won't it look peculiar with only a portion of the design? Is there a covering that will ruin gold leaf?
Hello Kacha, I work in the field of carpentry and interior decoration. Your work is very beautiful. I watched some of your videos and liked them. Thank you very much. I will see more of your work.
Wow! Very beautiful result. I would have worn cotton gloves to apply the gold leaf (especially because it's imitation) because the oil from one's fingers will cause early tarnishing.
Hello madam, I’m embarking on furniture renovation. I find your work magnificent. Do you do online training and if so, do you do it in French? Thank you in advance for your answer. Sincerely.
Wow. It’s beautiful. How do you know what colours will look good? I would never in a million years have picked up the red/orange colour because I prefer reds with the deep blue undertones and really dislike reds that are look orangy. Yet after you put that wax on it it was stunning. I would never have done that.
Hmm I think this is the first one I don’t like .. the best part is the design around the round table edging tgst is ok but the color is orangey .. don’t like the gold at all .. I grew up in a city big mansions , old money , big Homes mahogany wood old furniture pieces like this but This I don’t like. Just sayin my opinion
Hola, reconozco que tú trabajo es muy elaborado, pero quería hacerte una pregunta. Eres rusa? Lo digo por lo mucho que te gusta el oro y lo hortera y recargadas que quedan muchas de tus piezas. Gracias
The color paprika is the traditional color under paint color for gold leaf picture frames. Looks great. Hopefully that takes center stage in your shop with a spot light. With a vase of flowers.
What glue did you use for the filagree around the skirting? And what did you spray your brush with? When working on the feet? Great look good thing you work with Annie Sloan. What would that cost for the leaf to do this table?
Ton amie, Jenny 🤗🥰☺️
I was waiting for your new video.! It was fun and so blessed to meet you in person at the work shop in California in March 2024! You and your husband have a kind, fun , very great personality and inspiring many many people!
In another life I’m sure you were the main decorator at the palace of Versailles 😄❤❤❤

It looks like this is how it was supposed to be from the beginning. Absolutely stunning ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Awesome teacher bringing artistic liberty to others!
Brilliant as usual!! What a surprise- GOLD 😊
I have never seen the mineral spirits mixed with wax - must try!!! Beautiful!
I totally agree with you on the molding. It made the piece.

I'm a total beginner and she's my teacher as well. Can you recommend any other artist to watch and learn?

Beautiful lady and beautiful table , so gorgeous👏👏👏❤
You make it look so easy Kacha, beautiful work!

Is that dark wax or antique glaze you rub/brush on top of thr clear wax? So beautiful. Dani
love you style !!! t the gold queen
Beautiful. I loved the glaze . . . it made the piece.
Do you reuse the brushed off gold leaf parts? Are they reuseable?

What a fantastic tip…mineral spirits and wax! Thank you for sharing your beautiful work. I also ove that gorgeous mould.❤
This is a majestic looking piece! It's beautifully done. Now I have a direction to go in saving a table with terrible veneer. Thank you.

Kacha, you are simply brilliant. Your vision is extraordinary, that's why we like you so much!

I enjoy watching you paint.
Can I do the same too (sanding, gold leaf, clear wax, mix mineral spirits and wax) on a dining table ? How would it go?
You are so lovely and happy person!! I love to watch your videos!! So much talent ❤🙏👏

It’s beautiful ❤ You have such a good eye for detail. I’ve never tried gold leafing before but you make me want to try it on something.
Wow!! 🤯🥰🤗👍🏼💕 Great music 🎶🎵 great job 👏🏼❤
So good to see a new video I miss
Our video adventures!
Love the table and of course the gold!!!!
Hi Kacha. How can you keep the gold leaf from tarnishing?
So many people get it wrong. We are applying castings and not moulds to our projects.
I'd keep it to if I created such a wonderful piece..I love that red colour.
Pq no molde não fazer um furinho quando esta quase seco? Quebra ?
I would olive to hear more about the store! Am I missing a channel?
Wow, you are truly gifted. Thank you.
Amazing! Stunning! Gorgeous! Love it!❤❤❤❤❤
Try gloss finish sometime. And show us the work😎
Kacha.... You are crazy, and this is awesome.
I’m so sad you’re not selling this stunning table!
What do you do with the golf leaf you brush off the furniture?
I want to see what you do with the excess gold leaf. All the little pieces.
