I can't get over the excellent throw by Dobbs! Came in cold and threw a strike, his preseason film was good too. Definitely got a solid future sealed for Pitt. I can't help but to have respect for the ravens. Competitive but clean rivalry. Unlike the dirty Bengals that are clearly low in talent and resort to injuring. Not looking forward to that one.
The only thing that made me think about it was the dirty hit on Juju. Other than that. Good game

@shawnrectanus Ben doesn't always throw tight spirals either. All I saw was the exceptional ball placement. Maybe shouldn't be starting, yet. However I'll take him over Landry any day. He can also use his legs too

@John William I liked Cowher, but lets not forget the 1- 4 record in HOME AFC Championships where he was heavily favored in a couple of those losses. Still, Cowher was a good coach but not always what people remember him to be.

+J A A few reasons JA.....and Tomlin certainly has issues, he's not in Belicheck's league by a long shot but the issues are mostly what ALL coaches in all cities are criticized of....his team's at times play down to the competition (so did Cowher's) his time management isn't always what it should be ( neither was Cower's).....and theres others...Bottomline? the majority of the league would take Tomlin's record over last 11 years than what they've had in the past 11 years. Tomlin isn't a great coach but he's a very good coach.....and then of course there's those who will criticize him at the drop of a hat no matter what simply because the color of his skin - that's just the way it is. Not everybody now!!! Tomlin certainly has legitimate issues as a coach to criticize....but Cowher did too, but people tend to look at his reign through rose colored glasses like he was Lombardi or something ("Cowher Power!!!"). He wasnt. Cowher was no in-game genius, say like Belicheck.He got out coached a lot in big games. 1 and 4 in HOME AFC Championships....not too good. I liked Cowher too though. One thing about Pittsburgh fans is, it's always either Fire the coach, or bring in the back up....without pause.

As a Steelers fan I hate the ravens..but it's a respective hate. Y'all always go 100%. Doesn't matter if one team is 10-0 and the other is 0-10, it's usually a close game.

Connor Mccann havent they done that the past couple years? I think they switched it up for once. Actually the last afc north game is the season ender against Cincinnati. Lol they still gotta play Panthers, Jags, Broncos, chargers, raiders, pats, saints, and bengals. I think they can at least finish 11-4-1. With losses to saints and pats. They should definitely beat everyone else. That chargers game will be great. But they should win. Raiders, broncos, jags, have fallen apart. No easy game in the NFL but the steelers have the talent.

Ravens had the refs on their side the whole game with those ghost PI calls. that was their whole offense. But Steelers too good!

Um, there may have been a tad of contact on some of those calls.
When aren't the refs in someone's conversation. We deserved to lose because all it does is unveil the necessary changes needed to be done FY2019
The PI's were either nitpicky or plainly wrong calls. What makes me even more furious though are all the non-calls against the Ravens. Their O-line held our passrushers a million times, holdings on AB and JuJu, the horse collar on Ben that almost cost him and us the season etc. Throw in the ridiculous interception call vs. McDonald. The refs were utter trash, completely onesided.

Can't even keep track of where the ball is heading on my phone screen because it just zooms right pass I'm lucky if I see a blurr of it. He has one hell of an arm. Since 2010 no team not name Patriots have more wins than Pittsburgh in the months of November and December. Both teams traditionally start the season slow but have finished fast. Steve Young once said, some teams start off the season with new things, things other teams never seen before but the season is about adjustments, what teams can make the constant adjustments as the season goes on. Hey, I guess as the season goes on teams start getting tape on those news things and they can not add to those new things or adjust.

As a Steelers fan, these regular season ravens/Steelers games truly matter more to me than playoff games. If we would have lost this game, making it two losses to Baltimore in the same season, but went on to win a Super Bowl, it wouldn’t feel like we did to me. Not knowing that Baltimore was better.
