@@PerrinPottery I figure I may be out a little glaze and a little time but worth a try!!! It was off just a bit but sanded down the corner that was a bit low and it was perfect! (I epoxied a cheap diamond blade from Amazon onto a speedball bat)
Thank you! Yes the skulls are from Sanbao. Chinaclayart.com is where you can find them! I do get my transfers from so many different companies so if there is a different one you were wanting to know let me know!
So glad to see you have a video today! It’s so hot here in Iowa as well. Over 100 with the heat index!! My bisque load has been sitting in the kiln waiting to be unpacked for 5 days now!!!! Omg loooove that plate!! I have a alipcast mold that has a flag on it and I have the hardest time keeping the white white!! Please let me know how you did that. That cake plate is amaaazing!! Gosh it’s absolutely beautiful!!! What kind of extruder do you have? I’m litterally commenting about every single piece but, lol. When glazing, especially celadons, make sure to brush each layer in a different direction to help get better coverage as well as less streaks. LOVE the flower tray and mug. Are those transfers from Australia? The next tray you showed the left side looks more blurry than the right, to me. The bee mug is amazing! How did you get the drips at the top? It will look amazing with mop!! Omg the Moses mug is incredible!! For the snowflake that doesn’t have a hole you can use a bail on the back or there is a wire that can be used in the kiln and while it’s still wet you can push that into the clay and then fire it and it will stay in the piece. THE PUMPKINS ARE SOOO AWESOME!! I make pinched pumpkins and they are such good glaze testers!! Love the shapes you have! What an awesome kiln load!!!!
I love the commenting on every piece! 😜 I hope you get that bisque unloaded and glazed soon!! 🤞🏼 as for the white on the flag, I actually left it bare clay and just clear glaze over it. I watered down colors for earth concentrates and just let the water fill in and did a couple layers to make it darker. I do know to go both directions when glazing, but do I always follow the rules? 🤦🏼♀️ the extruder is a nidec or shimpo hand held extruder. I’m sure I spelled that wrong… the transfers are from Australia and so the shipping took forever! The bee mug I have a mild with all things bees, so it was from that mold that were applied. The wire, I have some that I have had only about 30% success rate. It is the correct cone wire but it’s like it disintegrates when being fired! So I not a huge fan of using them. If I can not then I don’t!!!! THANK YOU for this detailed comment!!! Loved it!!! ❤
@@PotterybyNatalie That’s awesome. Im glad im not wasting anyone’s time. Lol. There is wire that is meant to go up to cone 6 make sure you have that wire. I’ve never had that happen. I wonder what it could be.
Great stuff Natalie! Too bad about the running transfers. Out of curiosity, did you use the clear glaze on the whole piece, or did you use a liner glaze that wasn't clear? I'm wondering if a bit of liner glaze may have gotten on the rim under the clear and caused the runs? Just a thought based on where the transfers ran. That flag platter turned out spectacular! It's hot here too, but such is life in the south! LOL. Stay well!
I did use clear glaze on the entire outside but there is a liner glaze but I made sure it didn’t go over the lip. Good thought though!!! I’m going to test it out more on flat pieces and see if there’s something too that.
I would love to see how you make those extruded pumpkins! So cute.
@@PerrinPottery oh for sure I can make a video next time I make them!! Thank you!
Awesome kiln opening! Love seeing the new Spectrums. Mine are coming and I can hardly wait! Such cute pumpkies! 🎃
They are tricky to get to know, how much they will run and all. They are stunning and well worth it!
Beautiful kiln opening ❤🇨🇦
Thank you!!!
I LOVE your shirt! I have a few warped trays, I guess I’ll try to fire it anyways! Great unload!

Nice work! Could you share the UG transfer site? They look like good ones.

@@micheledickey4066 ya it is the same wire that’s why I have been reluctant to use it more. But I can still make them adorable without the wire! 😍
