Making large pottery jug
Просмотров 7852 месяца назад
I’m going to be honest- I didn’t know what clay this bag was sitting on my shelf. So I didn’t want to make anything with it that made it needed to be vitrified. This jug being this large, it is not practical at all, only decoration. I do believe it is standard 266 but it was a different color than my new 266. So what should I glaze it like if it survives?!?! #pottery #handmade #clay
Nerikomi bowls- hand built and wheel thrown.
Просмотров 4732 месяца назад
I did not video of the coloring of the clay the night before. That was a long process of taking mason stains and mixing with water and the frost porcelain I chose to use. No clay can go to waste doing this so I threw the scraps from the hand built bowls. #pottery #nerikomi #handmade
