I'm restoring a Mac 120, Walbro carb. Watching your videos is truly instructional. You are a good teacher. I may be 65, but not too old to learn new stuff. Thank you.
Oh man I can't tell you how many times I tore my 1st eager beaver apart n back together getting it to run..got a couple now..I have a love hate with those..lol
I still use them little macs when I’m climbing and tipping hazard trees aroujd peoples homes. Think I have 4 of them lol great little saws. Those and the homelite super xLs where the firsts saws I ran and worked on as a kid . Awesome pieces of work. Thanks for sharing mr. walker. Merry Christmas and happy New Years.
I love these little old saws. They're finicky but fun. Mine keeps flooding the crankcase with bar oil, must be from the crankcase pulse for the oiler. Never figured out why it drains back and can't a new oiler here in the UK unfortunately.
Nice video. My dad has one that says Mac 110 with the carrying case. I was going to see if it would run but found one of the clutch shoes is cracked. I was wondering how it came apart. You made that look easy.
I got a msg from lube tube said I was cyberbullying right after I asked you about the Mac. I think their hating on the ol yellers.. thx for your help donnie
Thank you for the video very informative. I recently got a Mini Mac 110 I got it to run but it runs at full speed I don't know what to do. I know how to take one apart now thanks to your video thank you. What would cause my chainsaw to run at full speed
my little 110 mac fills the cylinder with oil, tried to rebuild the oil pump with no luck. thinking about putting a plug in the oil pulse hole and just going manual oiler, what do you think?
I just bought mine today, a use one for $20 hope I can get it up and running! 🤞🏼but I’m going to take it to my local shop for maintenance, hope they don’t charge me too much
Donny, I have a Mac "Eager beaver 2.0" and it vibrates the hands pretty good when using it. Is that a normal thing for the little Mac saws? its a very strong running saw.
Does my little mini Mac have a level shut off switch. If I use it straight up and down it runs great but if I try and turn it sideways it shuts off is that how it works? Maybe a safety level switch to keep you from cutting your body and half just asking
I’m on the hunt for a coil for my minimac. Ifs like new as well. If you know of any it would be greatly appreciated, my son looked for one but no luck yet.
I own about fifteen of these little bastards! Starting with two mac 6 and the biggest one is a 140 that has never been in wood before either! It's funny, that the only thing that makes them have more or less cc is the size of the hole in the manifold. Every one of these saws are so full of sawdust and oil from the previous owner cutting with a dull chain! These little saws will definitely disturb the peace with the little stack muffler on them.
Hi Donny, I was wondering if you or your followers know the right replacement chain for my Mini Mac 30 that has a 12" bar, that reads "90549 DR" (I have seen 90549A but concerned this may not be identical in specification) Specifically, I cannot determine if this bar requires .043 slot or.05 slot spec... and number of drive links. The pitch I am confident is 3/8" Thank you for any help!
I HAVE A 110 WHICH IS OVER 60 YEARS OLD FOR OLD TIMES SAKE THIS IS MY FIRST SAW AND I WOULD LIKE TO GET IT RUNNING I THINK IT HAS A BAD COIL CAN YOU GIVE ME A SOURCE FOR THIS PART.
Eay Donny . Not sure I'll get an answer. I assembled this once, ran it, had a gas leak, diassembled, new o-ring, went to re-assemble, The THROTTLE ROD, grrrrrr. Looking in, does the rod bend come around the plastic arm on the left side to snap in or the right side . The schematic is not clear.
Hey Donny brilliant video/ its like you read my mind 😎 however, , , i have so many questions ! I just inherited a great little MAC130 looks almost identical ( thats my first question? Also the manual oil pump ????? 🤔 Is that to prime the oil pump or do you have to manually pump the oil all the time 🤷♂️

That's funny you did that video. That ignition coil I was looking for did the trick. Fresh rebuild on the carb and I fired her up tonight.
Living in Alaska we ran those saws hard in the late 70s early 80s. They worked pretty good, but i always dreamed of a brand new stihl

Same procedure for the 140. Dug one out of the basement last week. And thank you sir.

I just traded a wood stove for a 110, starts easy and cuts great. My 460 just keeps getting heavier

I have one that needs a fuel filter (felt) I can't figure out how to get out the old one without damaging the tank.
I think you're supposed to hold the throttle open on those when starting
45 years on the old boy still got it A
