  • We took a trip out to Ya Ha Tinda Ranch. Beautiful area. I'm 100% sure we will be back. There is a natural water slide here. We hiked to it and enjoyed the extremely cold mountain run off.
    It was worth the trip and the hike to get to it, even if we did take a couple of wrong turns.

    Great video Hun. I would love to go sliding there one day if you wanted another tag-a-long.

    Loved the natural water slide. How neat!

      I'd have to rank it up there as one of the coolest things we have been to on our hikes. The stone was smooth as glass.

    This water slide is so much fun!
    Reminds me of my favorite action tv show MXC (Most Extreme Elimination Challenge)

    That looks like a really beautiful spot. I would love to give that waterslide a try myself. I think I am speaking for all the guys out there when I say that a two piece bathing suit would make this video a lot more enjoyable;)

      It's a really nice spot. Not to hard to get to but not very well known either. As for the bathing suit, I hope you meant Christina and not me! LOL.

    It didn't look to hot but by your sunburn I guess it was!! You'll need to pack some sunscreen next time. I didn't realize Albertans had such thick accents either, sounds cool!

    • @genxers
      @genxers  11 месяцев назад

      It was not too hot but very sunny. Christina tends to burn in any sun. LOL. As for her accent, Christina was born and raised in Texas, USA. So, her accent is not the typical Alberta one. I like it too. Some days it's very thick, others you can barely hear it.

      We thought we had sunscreen in the camper but apparently it was moved out of the camper.

      Yes it does get hot in Alberta at times. I grew up in the lower 48 myself as well.

    This looks amazing. It reminds me of the White Goat Wilderness area of the Great Divide Trail. You should really try this section. It is not far from Abraham lake/ Cline River. I recommend doing one section and just trying it out for yourselves. It's a bucket list thing to do the entire GDT, but alot of people do it piece by piece.

    • @genxers
      @genxers  11 месяцев назад +1

      Is that the section that heads up Owen Creek and past Michelle Lakes?
      We have been talking about doing it section by section.

      @@genxers Yes exactly.
      Owen Creek to Replica Peak is a good hike.
      That whole section is good because you can always go down to HWY 93 if you are having trouble finishing your hike.

      @@greatdividetrailnetwork8554 That one is on our list for the next year or so. Question, is it dog friendly? We heard that there were some areas that a dog may have trouble. We hike with our Siberian Huskies.
