One was on a pile of rocks on the way out to the tiny remote island in the east, I might have gone past that one a handful of times and not noticed it because I was too concentrated on ice bridging - had Furina this time so gave me more time to look. The second was above the city gate entry. Probably passed by that one more than a thousand times.
Thought I had them all. Went from 516-519. Not sure what else I am missing. I did participate in 2.2 quest. So probably one done in the church. Wish they had a tool that would allow you to see what you have and still need to get. Nice work as always Kim!

I finished the quest for Fontaine and really enjoyed the exploration so I wanted to go back to our og nation and 100%. The Starfell valley area had one of the most annoying chests. I got the compass but even then it wasn’t picking up until I went to the top of the starsnatch cliff, directing me on the bottom but when I went down the compass stopped working. It made no freaking sense 😐

63 (there was no stone just anemo slim) - 75 this two chests were the only new for me ! so all mondstadt chests for me are 517 , except 2 chests from two different events that happened before i create my account and 6 were in vinte's new plan archon quest because i didn't know they will hide chests in the quest :) so all of it should be 525 for you guys or if you didn't get the events and the quest chest ;) thanks kim for your hard work ,tmw i'll check liyue too!
1:11:06 if you can’t ice bridge like I can’t- for some reason. There is a food that restores 60 stamina. Glide down from starsnatch. You will need to use this stamina food multiple times. The cool down is 5 minutes. Land in the water. Eat it 2-3 times. The journey will take you 15 minutes. My stamina is 208 I believe. And the name of the food is Northern Smoked Chicken. You’ll get an achievement.

from what I recalled, the chest counts between mondstadt and liyue are bugged prior to 1.1 or 1.2. some liyue chests were counted as mondstadt chests but not the other way around.
tyyyy so muchhh, as someone who had not enough reputation for the treasure compass and had 91% left this helped so much. I was unable to find the chests I was missing from the map but this helped find them all!!
UPDATE: Finished the video got 100% in exploration even tho I didn't took the chest inside cathedral 7:01 idk if i took the chests (there are 6 of em TT_TT) during the quest or not.... i will never know i cant get in anymore T_T

Hello, I have opened all the chests in the video (except in the venti mission), but my exploration is still at 89%, does the chest in Venti's quest affect exploration?
I looked in the comments and find out that chests in events don't affect the exploration. Later I try to get 100% and give you an answer if this is true.
Judging by how there was a amocleus on my screen when gettung a chest and not on the video means that they have all amoleus alrwady (amocleus count towards exploration)

I roamed around Mondstadt, running around like an idiot looking for anything and doing anything like lighting up a campfire to see if a chest will appear because I'm at 99% only to find out that the one I was missing was on top of the Cathedral... I feel stupid.
I have had more anxiety for 98% map completion than I ever had from the spiral abyss. All I was missing was the sunsettia the on the stones and a stupid anemo slime that I somehow never killed
