For anyone reading in 2022. I purchased this exhaust which is now $80. But it was absolutely worth it. I took the baffle out so it's technically just a fancy looking straight pipe. But for a 400ktr you don't want to spend a crazy amount on. It does a great job. Worth it.
The difference is like night and day. The power output of the 400 has always made me wonder about getting one, but from what I understand, everyone that has one LOVES it. So...you would recommend it? You've already sold me on the exhaust...that's a DAY ONE modification.
Had mine since May. My first bike. I love it. It’s been very easy to learn I’m. In 6 foot 220 pounds and it accelerated plenty fast. Tops out about 90, but you could push it a little higher if you needed.
@@michaelmcnulty8785 that is so crazy. I weigh only 145 maybe 150 lbs and in 4th gear at 11 grand I was at 93 mph..... I can't believe how much weight affects things like this.
You didnt show the hardest part! getting the mid pipe installed if it doesn't fit and all the other random pieces they threw in the bag (without instructions). I have no mechanic experience and i feel like i'll run into some issues there
Thanks for the video. gives me a bit more confidence buying a. Amazon special since they're the only ones who will ship to Cali because of CARB restrictions
Here in SA I'm struggling to get a midpipe adapter, got a cheap knockoff slipon but yeah the adapter will be an issue, might just outsource to an engineering company
If you start the bike outside with the stock exhaust you should still start it outside with the aftermarket one. I know you’re trying to make the other one sound better being in an enclosed area but come on.

Did you have any problems with the bike running lean with this exhaust on?

I have bought the same exhaust. Sounds great. Better quality than expected for the cost. Thanks for the video.
The comparison at the end was the icing on the cake. Thank you for the straigh forward video.
Very nice review man. I will be buying this for my 2022. Could you tell me what tools you used for this?

Thanks for this video! I have the same bike and have been wanting it to sound a little louder. Just bought a new exhaust today . Yours sounds 🔥🔥
Sounds great !!! Even without anything on it sounds really good but this looks better
thank god i found this video i was about to spend 400 on an exhaust
nice vid... especially showing what the mid level...baffle without bent in pipe plug... thanks
Ok; what brand is it ?? Love the sound !
I like the sound. Is this the 31cm or the 37cm model?
How did your baffle come off so easy? Mine is wedged in there pretty good even when I took of the screw
Pliers, grab and pull.
Very good demonstration. 😊
Did you tune your bike for the exhaust and is there any problem on your bike from using it?
No tunes and it runs really well!
Don't really need to tune if it's just a slip on
Does it require any welds?
Would you need to Flash the ecu with this slip on or no?
No need for slip on

Was there ever a wider rear tire added?

which diamater has this pipe where it connect to the header??
Any issues with heat or paint flaking off? Worried about melting my plastics.
“Sounds like an Italian bike” 🤣😂
is it still holding up today?
It works great!!
Great video
Thank you!!
In your drive by, was it with or without the baffle?
It was without for that test!
@@tjmunbox nice! And is the sound the same with the baffle but just less noisy?
Do you know the decibel level for this exhaust at 5,000rpm
Loud! Not sure on the specifics lol
Nice I have the same exhaust
It’s sick right!!
@@tjmunbox hell yeah
You're going to lose a little power without the baffle. You will feel it when you ride
Did u find that you lost any power when u put the cheap one on?
I didnt notice anything
Can’t find them anymore
