I am starting a new temp job next week. The dress code is smart causal. It has been a long time since I last worked. So wasn't sure what is smart causal. Found your video and adore your style. Plus I am really short only 4'11 Ard 151 cm tall. Appreciate to have some ideas on what to have. Gonna get a black trousers and some black and white cotton shirt.

The croc one is from Nanushka, bought it in 2019 so I don’t think they make it anymore. It’s called the Carmen Tote. The black one is from COS, also old from 2016… that’s why I didn’t/couldn’t link them 😅

This is silly but - do I still have to match my belt and shoes? If it’s a black shoe, does it have to be a black belt?
Do you have intimates that you recommend? Especially for the tank tops, I really love the style but I tend to shy away because my straps always show.
I either use something to pin my bra straps together at the back (you can buy a proper bra strap holder... I use a safety pin 🙊) or sometimes I wear a stick on bra. X

were can i get this style of clothing that is organic, with no harmfull chemicals and preferably as little plastic as possible?
Any tips on how to wear a blazer when you don’t wear jeans? Unfortunately jeans have never been my friend but I feel like wearing a blazer with trousers is way too formal looking
Could you try wearing a different coloured blazer with trousers so that its not so matchy-matchy?
Or wearing the trousers and blazer with sneakers (depending on your office, of course!)
Or try dressing it down with more laid back pieces such as a more casual top or bag.

mi job require me to go smart-casual, I have kids and so I am not really thin on the waist region, anything you could recommend, I am really lost when it come to fashion 😅
How about dresses or long tops/shirts over trousers? You can still look smart casual with those :)

Maybe a silly question, but... do you wear all these flats with bare feet?? I have this problem that all shoes are hurting my feet when wore without socks and never know what should I wear with 7/8 trousers and nice flats :(
Not a silly question at all! I wear no show socks. I get the ones with the little gel pad at the heel so that they don’t slide down xx

O NO, $300 FOR THAT BLAZER??? NEVER...Its cute & thanks for the video/ideas but WAY out of my price range and NOT REALLY AFFORDABLE 4 THE AVERAGE GIRL. I do understand quality of quantity and sometimes its better 2 invest in something more expensive but i just cannot do it lol. If i did spend $300 or more 4 ONLY 1 item it would have to DEFINITELY be on shoes, bag or maybe even a jacket or jewelry lol. But THANKS AGAIN FOR THE VIDEO

I totally get it, it's all up to personal preference. I love this blazer also because it's supporting a small (although they have grown so much!) female founded business. Sometimes that can also be really valuable amongst a sea of big businesses :)

Probably depends what kind of industry you are in. This is not intended to be a very formal workwear video as I don’t work in a very corporate place, you can pretty much wear whatever you want, but I try to make an effort to look a bit smarter than normal day to day wear 🙂
