All petite styling rules work depending on what type of a petite you are 😅 High rise is not always best, I personally cannot find a good high rise with a proportionate rise measurement for my body.
Waist coats are the best trend that has happened for my body type because not only am I petite, I’m extremely curvy, big busted (talk about ultimate challenge unlocked) love that you included that one in your video. Would love more ideas on how to balance a very curvy petite body in a very hot summer climate.
Wow! One of the best petite videos I’ve ever seen. The order and information roll was terrific. You really demonstrated with this Petite Studio line of clothing. Their fabrics are good too! I usually have to watch 5 or 6 videos to get this much valuable detail which really doesn’t help me because the importance of the content gets lost without the comparisons. Great job!!!!! ❤️🇨🇦❤️
Hallo, loved your tips. I am 165 cm tall (still petite). Bought an oversize offwhite Linenblazer last year and did not know how to style it. Immediately tried out a few of your tips, looks much better indeed. Watching from Austria, just discovered your channel and subscribed. thank you.
@@ImenBen12 I guess it is average in my age-class (I am 66). But the women born in the 70s and later tend to be very tall (in Austria and Germany) so I feel I am a bit on the shorter side (I do not compare myself with women my age :)
I am so happy to be part of the petite women's community. I really feel like we can support each other. I know some of the videos are older so the exact sale may not be running. I am sure there will be more sales coming from petite studios. I always feel like a long blazer will swallow me up, but I liked how it was styled with the mini dress. I liked the weight of the blazer, perfect for transitional weather. I like the tip about showing parts of the foot with footwear choices. I tend to just run out the door without thinking about it, this will help me be more intentional with my clothing choices.
Great tips!! Showing ankles, wrists, waist definition, and/or neck/chest are key to petite dressing I think! Proportions and balance are so important. And thank you for not just throwing on heels with all these outfits and calling it an outfit!
Adeline, this video was just superb! Such great information about balance and proportion as well as where a crossbody bag should hit, which we never hear discussed! Thank you for sharing these very helpful tips! ❤
I find that waring ankle length pants ( like the ones you are wearing) does not help lengthen your legs at all. Longer length pants with a heeled shoe does so much more if that is the goal.
The outfit with t-shirt hanging works if you want the tomboy look 🙂The other is great to look taller. I have a long torso so need high waist even more 😅
This was great, your principles are going to be easy for me to remember, the hacks for the shoes were super helpful, I am the same height as you and I never considered that the position of my bag on my body was making me shorter, fab upload, thank you so much, Jai 🙂
Thanks for the helpful tips Adeline, your explanation about balancing outfits are very inspiring. However, I live in the Netherlands and in winter time it’s not possible to show ankles and arms, do you have any recommendations of how to balance outfits in winter?
Another fab video, Adeline! Can you link the Amazon heel insert? Also, is it comfortable? I have worn heel cups for alleviating plantar fasciitis type pain which is much less often so I'm intrigued by the heel insert you showed in the video. Thanks so much! ❤
Dear Adeline, Thank you so much for sharing this informative video. I'm petite like you 5'2" and I have hard time finding the right pants length. Could you please share with me what the length of your pants when wearing flat as well as a medium heels? Your help is very appreciated. All the best! 💕😊👍
Hi, love your style tips. I have a question regarding shoes, do you think shoes that dont match the color of your bottoms draw the eyes downward? Or lighter colored shoes for that matter?…thanks
If are trying to make yourself look taller then I would try to match your shoes to the colour of your trousers so that you elongate the line going down your entire body. However, you also need to consider the shape of the shoes too and if they go with the bottoms. For example, I wouldn't wear wide trousers with a chunky shoe because that would also look too bottom heavy even if the colours matched. Hope that helped! x
I'm not saying you can't wear it like that! If you love it with loose/baggy jeans and you feel great wearing it like that, then that's what really matters!! Showing wrists deffo helps though 😂 xx
Badly fitted clothes make petite women look awkward or chunky. Badly fitted clothes would make tall women look sloppy etc too. It's not that you're too short, it's that nearly all clothes are tailored for unusually tall women. Average height is 5'3"...there's nothing wrong with you, or any of my other "petite" friends out there.
Comment below to let me know if you found these tips helpful! 🥰
Thank you for not cheating with heels, i feel like all petite guides are just standard outfits with heels 😂

It's important to look at whether you have a long or short torso as wearing high waist if you have a short torso makes your body less balanced.
Absolutely, thank you for pointing that out. You have to take all style advice with a grain of salt and adapt to your body type xxx

I know right! And there are so many designs out there at the moment! I'll deffo have more petite tips coming in the future xx
Me too! I am having such a hard time styling myself lol

Is 165 petite in Hungary? Because in most parts of the world it's definitely not petite but average/tall
***Austria

Hi Tricia, thank you for your comment. I'm always glad to hear that I can help out our petite community! xxx

I’m a 5’0” inverted triangle so trying to find balance of appearing taller and balancing out my silhouette is tough!

Thank you for watching and for your support as always! I'm so glad these tips were helpful xx
I love wide pants (love that they feel a bit androgynous) and often use shoes with not heels but with thick soles to get some more length/height 🙂

Also true! Wearing a heel is definitely an option, but to be honest most of the time I don’t wear heels so I wanted to give more ‘everyday’ options ☺️

Love your videos, Adeline!! Great information! I am not petite, but I am a fan of everything your shared❤
I appreciate that so much Mila! I love your videos ❤️
I am 4"11 and monochrome is my favorate uniform for everyday.

I will be working on this for the winter very soon

Hi my love, it is the Hortensia (medium) from Wandler. I think the colour was a seasonal one from a few years ago x
Great video. Very helpful❤
So good!
Great tips!❤

I am 154cm and have worn an oversized blazer(all my blazers are more loose) with loose straight/ baggy jeans😄 and i love it, i show my wrist tho😊

I love oversize clothes I just make sure to tuck it in the high waist pants, show high waist in some way 🙂

To me, ankle pants are just an inch too short.
