Every curve is perfect. My only complaint is that I think the tail lights are the weakest design element. But they are not ugly by any means. I liked this car so much I bought one. MT, premium, Neptune blue.
A gorgeous ride. That’s the goal for me next year to add a second vehicle to my fleet. My trusty 3rd gen Tacoma as my daily workman’s truck, and a GR86 for the fun evening drives and date night with the ol lady
This car actually makes around 245hp at the crank. It's a good bit faster than a Miata and an S2000. I don't think it's fair to complain about the power when there literally zero cars that are cheaper and faster.
Sort of... the BRZ and the GR / GT 86 were co-developed by Subaru and Toyota. In the end, it is assembled by subaru, yes, but development is shared; neither side wanted to make it on their own. The supra is more toyota asked to use a bunch of Z4 parts.
@@Concodroid I get what you are saying but everything under the hood of the Supra says BMW on it. The interior has a lot of parts taken right out of BMW's. From what I understand Toyota's only involvement was in a duo-design team building the car. It is one of the reasons why I think the new Supra hasn't been that popular it really isn't a Toyota.
@@SuperSnakePlissken No that's exactly what I'm saying... the supra is literally a BMW, hence "toyota asked to use a bunch of z4 parts". I'm contrasting that with the 86 where they worked together from the beginning to develop these parts and subaru assembled it.
@@Concodroid The Supra is actually built by Magna-Steyr, the same company that used to build the Cayman/Boxster for Porsche. And since BMW is killing the Z4 the Supra also must go unfortunately.
It is not about raw hp. This car drives amazing. It is true sports car.
Loving this ride you nailed it
That's right. I owned a 2010 Genesis Coupe and driving it was the highlight of my days.

Our 86 arrived yesterday. Fun evening drives…
Been watching this car for 2years! Just waiting on 2025 and interest rates to hopefully come back down! Thanks for covering it!!
Ive never seen one of these Untamed. Cool review 💯
So where are you living on the moon?
@@mpiny YES, I live on Uranus

Nice
Much like how the Supra is really a BMW, the 86 is really a Subaru BRZ.

@@bearclaw5115 I'm honestly not too cut up about it. It opens the door for a GR86T, which would be a genuine rocket ship
People still have not found a fix for the engine blowing up. They think an Oil accumulator will help but that's just a guess.
That's super rare. Probably around a 1/1,000 event and happening only to heavily used track cars.
