Hi, can you help me? When you replace the Grips to Volquartsen Wood did you keep the Factory Magazine Release Button? Or use the new one that came with the Grip? Thank You Pete
I’m in the same boat. It should be pretty simple but changing the mag release without proper instructions is proving to be a task.i can see that the new button goes though the inside. But then What? How does the factory mag release come out of the gun?and how does the new one go in? Vk tech support is at the SHOT show.. so I have to wait until the one guy gets back, Thanks for the help.
HUGE difference. Highly recommended. I bought the Mark IV Competition. My FFL is also my gunsmith, and when the gun came in, I just left it with him to do a trigger job. He ordered the Volquartsen Accurizing kit and installed it before I even took the gun. Love it!
@@farleyjj1 Thanks, I've just seen that Tandemkross offer the Volquartsen accurising kit with the victory trigger in a bundle. I was worried because their website says not to use with any other brand of sear or hammer.
I think at my LGS the competition model was $50 less expensive that the hunter -not a big deal. After looking and looking I decided on the competition although I do like the fluted barrel on the Hunter model. The insides areall the same though.

Use the new parts supplied with the Volquardsen grip.

Do you find that the volquartsen competition bolt is a useful improvement?
Yes! Increased the reliability even more. Extremely smooth. Trigger job and this bolt make the gun a worthy Target Pistol. Thanks for watching!
Did the new trigger make a big difference? I have the same gun and am thinking about adding this trigger to it. Thanks

@@farleyjj1 Thanks, i'll be getting one now.
@@farleyjj1 doing the same thing here.. waiting for nthenparts to come in now as they’re on back order fromVk
Have you tried to cycle CCI quiet with that bolt?
No, I have not. Honestly, i don’t like that ammo. I’ll try some ELEY Subsonic in it and let you know, if I remember.
Did your front site come loose on that last free hand shot?
At 1:30
Yes it did! Good eye! Thanks for watching!
My front sight did that same garbage. Blue lock tight did the job though
Lovely gun. Does the Victory trigger work fine with the volquartsen accurising parts?
Yes, the trigger is a dream with the Volquartsen kit. Great Target trigger.

Can’t wait to smack my RMR 2 on mine
Why not just upgrade a cheaper mark 4 with all the VQ parts wouldn’t that be cheaper?
A large part of the appeal of this gun is the stainless steel fluted barrel.
farleyjj1 ya agreed. It’s a beauty
