matt and trey don't really have a problem with the humour, it's about how it''s delivered. basically, they think having random cut away gags is a cheap way to add humour to a show, they think humour should come naturally from the story of the episode and honestly i agree with them. that's why i like american dad more than family guy, with american dad i remember entire episodes but with family guy i just remember certain gags, but i couldn't tell you what the plot of the episode was

@Buddha_Gotama yeah, there is quite a difference between the early seasons and the later ones. In the early seasons the story of the episode actually mattered and the family felt like a family. Later on, they all pretty much hate each other. I especially miss early seasons Brian who was a cynical alcoholic rather than the dumb caricature we have now.

I never really enjoyed Family Guy because the cutaway gags were brutally unfunny, the characters often annoying, and the humor offensive (unfortunately not the entertaining kind of offensive that challenges you. More like offensive to the audience's intelligence). American Dad sometimes has similar problems but the humor comes more naturally and Roger literally carries the show. To be fair, Seth McFarlane's humor isn't really my taste but Roger and his countless personas are his best creation so far and they have endless potential

Also I voted for the crossing guard persona since i love seeing Roger be both sweet and unhinged, so it'd be fun to see him be overprotective to kids while also being absolutely scary to the drivers. A drag queen sounds fun, but that sounds like a persona they'd do eventually because of how popular they are and how roger is known for his drag.
Two favorite jokes they did with the Roger Personas I liked was when Roger and Haley kept interchanging role plays until they were each other and Haley snuck some sort of benefeit from it when they role plays as each other. The other was one of the end of the world episodes and ALL of Roger's personas were individuals that was caused from Roger climbing into some advance science tech.
Im praying the cartoons gods that this video passes the Dagmar test. American dad is right after southpark in my long running animated show list. And of course, Roger is just hilarious 80% of the time for me and has such an interesting story so great choice for the first video about the show 😁
American Dad is my #1 out of them all. It still holds up. Much thanks to Roger, but all the other characters as well. And let's not forget the longest running story of them all - the one of the Golden Turd! It spanned like, 15 seasons starting in season 1 (or was it first episode season 2?)
Great video! I might be wrong on the timeline, but doesn't Stan first claim to be a killing virgin AFTER he's been rebooted into his personal heaven reality after the apocalypse and rapture? I think the inconsistency also occurred to me, and I reasoned that in his new reality he had purged his killing past, as most of those casual kills happen early on. This is also how I explain the sentient spa death, and the occasional reveal that they're filming a tv show. Stan is just secretly his own mini god now. I love the creativity AD has shown over the years, it needs a lore dive just on the nature of it's reality.

Even though I didn’t see what big deal with Roger dressing up as drag queen as Roger has had meny other female personas over the years but the main reason why people were up set about Roger dressing up as a drag queen is because at the time of the episode being made that it was stated that drag queens are illegal in schools meaning that are not allowed be in schools at all hits when WBD go wind of that the episode itself was pulled from all broadcasts as result of this but that everything that I know about that topic.

It's also an airforce base that houses all of the people who are working in the base and has a fully functional runway and helipads. Roger inspired me in my younger days....like back when I was 22 and watching bingeing american dad episodes while on unemployment Id sit n bed all day drinking a jug of wine and being drunk the whole day. *sigh* those were better times. As for the peanut butter thing mentioned in vid.......As to the actuality of whoever really first invented...or discovered it...that would take like more than 15 seconds of research and .........reading.....So instead I will recount how peanut butter was discovered from memory and uuhh imagination. So it was first discovered in the past by a human, but eventually a guy named George washington carver did like a bunch of stuff with peanuts n so he got the butter part attributed to him as well. This is cause he used peanuts to build a time machine that was powered by diesel. (Vin diesel, not the liquid type) and he went into the past to take the original recipie for Pbutter from Marie Curie, who got it from aliens from the future. He used his super speed and ki blasts to get through her palace compound on the moon (the one from space) and then used peanuts to build another time machine (powered by nicholas cage in order to travel to the future but still past in america) and then he did some stuff and today 2,000 years later he is remembered for doing things with peanuts and plant things. Back then a jar of peanut butter costed 5 cents, which in todays money would be 895 billion dollars.

Roger inspired me in my younger days....like back when I was 22 and watching bingeing american dad episodes while on unemployment Id sit n bed all day drinking a jug of wine and being drunk the whole day. *sigh* those were better times.
As for the peanut butter thing mentioned in vid.......As to the actuality of whoever really first invented...or discovered it...that would take like more than 15 seconds of research and .........reading.....So instead I will recount how peanut butter was discovered from memory and uuhh imagination.
So it was first discovered in the past by a human, but eventually a guy named George washington carver did like a bunch of stuff with peanuts n so he got the butter part attributed to him as well. This is cause he used peanuts to build a time machine that was powered by diesel. (Vin diesel, not the liquid type) and he went into the past to take the original recipie for Pbutter from Marie Curie, who got it from aliens from the future. He used his super speed and ki blasts to get through her palace compound on the moon (the one from space) and then used peanuts to build another time machine (powered by nicholas cage in order to travel to the future but still past in america) and then he did some stuff and today 2,000 years later he is remembered for doing things with peanuts and plant things. Back then a jar of peanut butter costed 5 cents, which in todays money would be 895 billion dollars.
