Grabbed a t-shirt at the Sound of Liberation in Wiesbaden and those guys were SO AWESOME. A friend of mine texted me during the show "Buddy, Belzebong is WILD!!!"
Turns out, I was slurping ramen at the next table. I’d noticed the long haired fella were speaking among themselves in Polish and interrupted to ask, “Hey! Are you guys with a band?” “Yes,” was the response from the taller long hair. They told me they were playing tonight in Tulsa. I asked what sort of music - jazz, bluegrass. They said metal, heavy metal. I asked how heavy and they responded with, “Very heavy.” If not for being expected to work at 5am, I would drop in for their set @ Wittier Bar. Maybe they will stop in Tulsa on their way to wherever. I’d pay to see them live.
If ya like this ya need to check out bongzilla it's basically the same exact band but with weed themed sound clips instead of satanic ones. Bongzilla is great, too.
All previous releases used the same color green on their albums, still wondering why they went with this new art style. Bong Thrower and Acid Funeral will always be two of my favorite doom songs
People can't figure out that a good instrumental band DOESN'T NEED vocals !! It's such a fucking vocal theme. Someone growls, someone squeals like fucking woman, someone likes the vocals, someone doesn't. I myself play in an instrumental stoner band. It is very cool and convenient. Belzebong one of cooliest band !
Just because its "stoner rock" does not mean it's going to be good. This is very simple jamming and riffing that anyone with 6-10 months of experience can do

It's ok but they clearly listened too much to Goatsnake, the riffs and sound are insanely similar.
Theres only so much you can do with 10 minutes and slow timing though before it becomes "hacky" or whatever lol
