Takes me back to free festivals in the UK in the 80´s. So much influence from Hawkwind, Ozrics and many others. Stunning music guys, keep it spiralling into the cosmos :D
I was already a big fan of Hawkwind since the early 70's. Yuri Gagarin is one of the best space rock bands nowadays. Just close my eyes and listen, WOW !
Im started to collect Yuri Gagarin albums on vinyl. Makes me feel good to actually own a solid piece of music from them what gives back the sounds perfectly and no need internet connection to enjoy it. One of my favorite band. I had hard times to find another band with the same sounds and I found none. :\ Know some others and they are not bad at all but nothing gives the chills like a badass 80's sci-fi psycho thriller. If you know any others please share with me.
Yuri Gagarin are amazing and in my opinion it's great that their sound is special. A band I also really like with a sound that somewhat goes into the same direction is "Dhidalah". I recommend to listen to their album "Threshold" 😀
It isn't a total match but if you really like Yuri I have a few suggestions you may enjoy... Monkey3 - 39 Laps, Tuber - Desert Overcraowded, Los Natas - Cuidad De Brahman, Elder - Lore. I'm assuming you've already gone through the classics like Kuss, Monster Magnet (25 Tab era), Sleep, Electric Wizard, Fu Manchi, Dead Meadow
@@nintendocereal493 I'm young my friend, I only knew Schism before... obviously I started few years ago with classic like Metallica, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath Judas Priest, Dio, Ozzy Osbourne then i went into prog like Dream Theater and Symphony X, then Opeth and Tool...
@@alessandromariani99 When the self titled album by the 'supergroup' Shrinebuilder was released it was very impressive to me, you might like that one as well although it's not as 'spaced out' as Yuri Gagarin. Concerning actually spaced out and/or symphonic material you might want to check bands like Triptonus, My Sleeping Karma or Monomyth.
1. QSO - 00:00 2. Oneironaut - 10:05 3. Crystal Dunes - 23:41 4. Laboratory 1 - 31:42 5. The Outskirts Of Reality - 35:30 i know its in the description , but i was still wondering where's the song shortcut guy , so i guess its has to be me
@@xdrfetishx Just to clarify, I had no idea about anything to do with SMOD beyond the channel and some of the videos, at the time I commented. Now I know about the crap that goes on stuff like FaceBook... It sucks, but nonetheless, glad I found some great music from it.
gotta admit, i dont like how this album is "less Spacey" than the other two...but on the other hand, this one's more "Machiney" vibe is still a good one...like, after years of drifting in hypersleep, your ship's radar starts showing a massive alien mothership, previously unnoticed by any other detection methods...
Obsenely good album with an opening and a closing tracks that are just blasting masterpieces. This reached the levels of "I´ll stop having sex right now just to listen to it" good.
Seems about right. Good call. Then again, still have approximately 1/2 year remaining as I post this. Perhaps someone else will challenge for top spot in 2020?. We shall see.
foxtrotnow Still 1 and 2 spot respectively in some order as I write this. Would love for something to come out and blow away both of these but I think it’ll be tough. I’m surprised how long I’ve been jammin both nearly daily
Thanks for adding it on your channel, I wanted to share it with friends but I don't want to send them link to Stoned Meadows Of Doom, since I don;t want to support neo-nazi woman hater (go to his gropu on Fb if you don't know what I mean) who bullies artists and other channels.
Well... Like Vektor with their album Outer Isolation which kill the game of thrash metal, Yuri Gagarin kill the game of space rock. The ultimate album. Call the Guiness Booka and cry, no one will do better. Until...?
Безидеен албум! След шедьовара си Аt the Center of all Infinity Yuri Gagarin правят сериозна стъпка назад в музикалното си развитие. И това след пет години творческо бездействие. Няма чувство, динамика, мелодии в новия им албум. Жалко!

Also a faint whiff of Can and Amon duul 2❤
Неожиданный результат для поиска по "Юрию Гагарину" .... но я не пожалел прослушать такое!!!
Probably the best album of the twenties!
Yuri Gagarin's albuns are SICK. Both the music and the album covers

@@alessandromariani99 Have you checked out Mastodon already? If not then you should definitely do so, I recommend the album "Blood Mountain".
@@markmetalen37 Don't like Mastodon. But thanks for the advice. Do you bands that sounds alike I may prefer?

Found this from Stoned Meadows of Doom❤️
Definitely deserves more publicity!
Amazing work, seriously
Screw SMOD, it's better to just take note of the albums from the thumbnails and listen from bands Bandcamp.
Thanks a lot! :)

What does QSO stand for? I think it is my favourite, love the outro. This entire album is amazing though.
QSO Stands for qausi stellar object.
you expected your fans to be on time hahahaha give it few months 500k i feel it.

just to assure you, the band had no idea about the shit he was spewing. the video has been removed by their request.
Fucking love it
I hope you guys stick with the HYPER-BEAST aesthetic. It perfectly fits the music, and its super novel.
