During the Ever Crisis scene I decided to show off the "slum drunk" option just for fun, I just love what Aerith says in EC when you choose that option ha ha. 😂

I LOVE their meeting in Remake... they changed the dialogue (in English at last) but I love how it is different 😂 it's so funny seeing Cloud already that head over hills for the flower girl! The OG remain superior and I'll forever love "Flowers blooming at the church" is a beautiful music! EC one is similar to OG but the music sounds weird?
One of the best, most peaceful yet mysterious and romantic scenes in the whole game - so cool that we now have three versions of it! Nothing will ever beat the OG for me, but Remake's scene is lovely, and I love how EC has Cloud explicitly accept her date offer rather than get flustered. (And as an OG elitist who still calls her 'Aeris', I started to go "nooooo" when you deleted the 's' in Aeris's name, and then grinned when you put it back.)
I love that part of EC! We got an immediate head nod from Cloud, his body language always speaks so loudly doesn't it? Oh no way I was going to delete "Aeris!!!" I still call her Aeris in my videos often when I'm pronouncing her name. I've been told sometimes it sounds like I'm saying "Aerithis" LOL But I just hit the wrong button and deleted the "s" on accident 😋
Pls ive never seen the OG meeting all the way thru 7:24 😂 and literally laughing bc i swear it looks like Cloud nods with zero hesitation, sizes up Reno to see who he's about to beat up and then looks Aerith over like 'yup 100% worth it' 😂😂😂 Cloud 'I dont work for cheap' Strife
My guess is, remake is a sequel of OG, i mean, come on guys, why did he always have flashbacks of aerith's death, and she also stuttered about the bodyguard thing. Pretty much obvious about it
@@chisakiryu It's heavily hinted at all through remake. One example is Yazoo, Loz and Kadaj in the last chapter. The other is the flashes/premonitions (or flashbacks). I think it was definetly meant to invoke a sense of premonition first and foremost. Aerith and Sephiroth starting out as omniscient is another.

I really like the EC version because cloud explicitly accepts the 1 date/bodyguard exchange. In every other version, it just sort of happens.
That's true, he doesn't hesitate with that body language of his either. He immediately nods his head and then says "....sure, fine."

Yeah EC's variations with music are hit or miss from what I've noticed. Kind of takes away from some of the scenes.

The church music in EC really rubs me the wrong way - it sounds like a water tempel.
