This is a much needed mod for the Panigale V2 to fix that front brake squishy feeling...the Brembo RCS-17 completely changed the feel of the front brake for the better. @@JaretCampisi No, feels great. Compared to my 2020 Tuono Factory, the initial bite is a little less but I was pleasantly surprised when I got the v2. But the rear brake is entirely useless and unpredictable. So I need to work on that one before track day season gets underway properly!
@@donovanjanus7252 honestly raced my superleggera an entire and really didn't use the rear brake at all unless I was trail braking mid corner...you can throw the rear brake off the bike and set stupid fast lap times. and Mr. Campisi really doesn't know shit the standard master is just as good as an RCS master... but you know they need youtube material
1:34 Oh Yes!! The new Dragsters look even better.. I'd definitely love to see how you'd mod out one of those and I know I can't be the only one. MV Agusta has some other gorgeous models too!
@@JaretCampisi Lol hard to improve on perfection right? But seriously though, big fan of your build series. I honestly think you're doing it the best on YT. Each one of your builds so far has produced the best looking version of that given bike I'd seen up until that point, i.e. the carbon V4, XDiavel, S1000RR, etc. Keep doing your thing! And don't overlook those MV's... Even if so many of them already are perfect lol
99% of riders can not tell the difference between stock brake master and Brembo 19 RCS master cylinder. You have more progressive feel but not actual change in braking power. The Stylema calipers can make a difference that an average rider might feel. Smaller passageways, less compressible fluid volume, in a reduced mass/unsprung weight configuration makes a difference. Professionals can tell the difference and make use of the difference. The rider makes the bike. All motoGP race bikes are so similar that a little advantage with the right rider wins that day.
Normally I would agree with you but I can 100% tell a difference when I switched out the clutch and brake master on the streetfigther and it definitely felt different to me just riding the V2 around the parking lot with these replaced as well
Free play on throttle is more of a safety thing on low speed maneuvers. You’ll never notice the free play when you’re launching the bike as the rev are high and once the bike get going, it won’t even matter.
I love Italian both cars and motorcycles. MV Agusta’s are more boutique vs more mainstream Ducati. Can not go wrong with either. Love Halo bikes and cars as their tech filters down to the other bikes. IMU’s and now radar cruise control and blind sport detection. Catching up to car world safety!
How bad are the front brakes on the v2 stock? Is it really worth upgrading to m50 or stylema calipers + RCS 17 MC? I heard you also have to replace the brake lines....
According to my v2 manual. The button you referred to as being the high beam is actually to turn off and on the day time running lights. High beams are on the left side bruh. 🤗 I totally agree with the front brakes being spongy, glad it isn’t just in my head.
Just curious - if you do this setup on the right hand side with the Ducabike controls, how do you turn in the hazard lights? There doesn’t seem to be a button for it. Or did I miss something?
I have a v2. I thought RCS19 was the MC that brembo say should be fitted. Maybe that's why it doesn't fit straight on? Good to know it's better though. I use mine on track only and I agree, brakes way too spongy. My 765rs I could get the rear in the air at 150, but not easy on this
haha dear god be careful man! But yes this does seem to have fixed the brake feel and I will confirm that once I take it for a spin in the next episode
Loving this bike. My dealership just became an authorized Ducati dealer and have literally everything in. The street fighter in stealth black is siiiickkk! Ps.. how's Rory??
JARET! Those beauties sit more than they are ridden and I hate to see it. When one is under work, ride the other. They're made to be ridden not sit at a showroom floor! I know you want to save the miles to the new owners but I'm sure they are not mad over a 1000-2000 more miles.
Honestly as they get more and more expensive parts and closer to being finished I ride them less and less because I just don't want anything to happen to them at that stage in the build. This is my entire lively hood and I can't risk wrecking one of these at this stage in the game.
Don`t know, Brembo gets more and more suspicious for me. Squishy feel- come on ... Have this single part calipers from Sumitomo on my R1 RN04 with SS braidet hoses and they are phantastic, well suited for no speed limit Germany. Converted my XJR 1200 already to similar ones from XJR 1300 SP, have a matching rear one already at home. XJR is also availiable with Brembo calipers but they are 2 part, don`t want. Would`nt be an upgrade to the stock 2 part Sumitomo`s what were on the XJR from factory.
Wait, isn't point of buy bikes like this is that they already comes very very good and expensive components, and that's why they are expensive.. So my 2 year old 1000RR is shit for what I paid for.. An overpriced junk..
wow nice bike sir...can you give me a gift sir mojo200 rusi bike china hehehe..for my end contract here in saudi arabia? i want to stay in philippines for good,i will use it as my delivery bike for foods..

Odd. I have absolutely no issues with the stock on mine. Lots of feel for trail braking. The rear brake however leaves a lot to be desired.
@@donovanjanus7252 really the front brake doesn't feel squishy to you? Going from my streetfighter back to the V2 is when I can really notice it

Yes...do a build on MV AGUSTA!!!
It’s always amazing to me that really nice bikes come with the cheapest possibly reservoirs.
yeah I never really understood that either...I guess its just a way to save some money
Install Stylema brake calipers. That really completes the whole brake update.
I'm going to wait and see how this set up feels first before we add calipers

Watching you @jaretCampisi correcting/pointing out better stuff Ducati could have done never gets old. Keep up the great work bruh. Panigale4Life 😁
haha I enjoy sharing my opinions :)
Looks good. Yeah the Ducati spacers from Kevin were one of the first things I wanted. Way better.
yeah they make a massive difference
Try Hpk Brembo discs and Z04 pads next 100% better feel than just the master cylinder ................👍👍👍👍
I will keep that in mind if I'm not 100% happy with how it feels now thanks!

So that rcs17 brake lever doesn't fit the standard v2 setup? That kinda sucks :/ I don't want those weird colored button controls on mine...
I saw the clear clutch cover fogged up.
Is that normal ??
yes I get this question all the time...completely normal

Why not get a v4r instead of the SP? Same kinda money
Definitely noticed the squishy front break on my v2 so this might be my next upgrade haha
Yeah this is the cheapest way to fix it that I've seen for sure
Jaret, are those low mount Rizoma brackets universal? Got a link? Looking to do something similar on my SF.
I'm not sure actually...I'd hit up the boys at Santa Barbara Ducati and ask Preston
Hi...fantastic mod wonderful Ducati 💖👍
shoutout from PHILIPPINES 💖💖
I wish rizoma would make lower
Profile fluid Reservoirs. They stick up to high.
I believe they have to be a certain size to work properly
You should put wings to the V2 , it will look even more badass !
Nah, would look like it's trying to be a V4.
Do you work with anyone out of state?
New stunt triple clamp from streetbikesupply would be hella cool

Can anyone around the world enter the competition to win the bikes, or do you have to live in the US?
bikes are US only yea
