  • I share my opinions on the Liberty Tabletop brand, experiences talking to the employees, and using the flatware over the last year.
Regardless of what you buy from them, based on my experience, you will likely have a very positive encounter!
This will be the last video I make regarding this product.
[NOTICE: I am not employed by or represent Liberty Tabletop. This is an independent opinion/review piece. My family had to privately pay for everything you see before you.]

I admire Liberty's commitment to quality and using USA materials and workers. I ordered six samples today including Betsy Ross. I do wish you had a few additional patterns more in the style of Oneida's Marquette or R&B's Country French. Your prettiest patterns, imo, are the very plain ones like Betsy Ross, but I'd like something a little more like the ones I mentioned. Apparently your quality is top notch and I appreciate your sample offerings.

I just bought my first set after an extensive search for a new Flatware set. I was about to buy a "high-end" set from a well-known company, however I noticed it was "made in Vietnam" and really wanted something made in America. I'm excited to get this new set and look forward to more from this company in the future!

I recently bought some more of Oneida's Marquette and was concerned that it was made in Vietnam. I have to say, though, so far the quality seems very good, comparable to my old USA Marquette and it is 18/10 stainless. Time will tell. I like the delicate, lightly accented patterns like Marquette and wish Liberty had some in that style. I'd rather buy American made products.

Nice review on this product good to see there's still American made flatware. Very true we have farmed out a good percentage of our manufacturing. Eventually have plans to buy a set of flatware from Liberty table top plus some Wright wrenches which are also American made in my native state of Ohio which is also in the rust belt.

I just got married and with that, came a lot of wedding gifts. The thought of reviving a bunch of Chinese made items stressed me out. I made a point to purchase as many American made products as we could. We just received our 65 piece Annapolis set from Liberty Tabletop and are looking forward to keeping them in our family forever.

Very helpful review; thanks! I'm impressed with Liberty and ordered two sample sets today including Betsy Ross. I wish they had a better selection of patterns, though. Their quality seems top notch. Their patterns are mostly very plain or all-over designs, and the few in between aren't very pretty imo. I'm looking forward to receiving my samples. From photos I'm leaning toward Betsy Ross but I prefer a lightly accented pattern.

Great review! Bought an imported “high end” flatware set from one of the big box stores and it was terrible. The handles have rough-cut edges that tear up your palms. Decided I was done with foreign made junk and started looking for American made flatware using American steel. Found this company and bought two sets: American Outdoors and Holidays. I already felt good about my purchase, but your review further reinforces my feeling. Glad to support an American company and can’t wait to get our new flatware!

Old video, but I was curious about the different tiers. Seems the higher tiers might just be heavier duty. I presume they all use the same steel, and are all smashed into shape with a big press.

I purchased Liberty ware in 2015. The Pinehurst set. It's all still gorgeous, and I have 7 kids. I am looking to get a new set though, because apparently, when my kids have been cleaning off their plate, they dump them in the trash accidentally and don't pick em back out! We are down to 4 spoons! Arg!

The good news is that you can easily call Liberty up and request replacements. Can do that with a set from Target or Walmart! ^_^

I bought the Annapolis version. A plain, everyday design, but superbly polished. I only bought salad forks, teaspoons, and dinner knives, 12 each at $3.49 per piece. The dinner forks and place spoons are a bit heavy for what we like. The formerly reputable Oneida Company crafted all their silverware in New York.....once upon a time. Now they're Walmart "Made in PRC" garbage. Liberty Flatware is very much worth the price you pay.

I always found the "People's Republic" part of the PRC hilarious. A republic with an non-elected totalitarian communist government? That seems to be an oxymoron to me. ^_^
Yes, the Liberty Tabletop pieces are heavier, since they are made of a fairly expensive steel alloy sourced right here in the USA! From the conversations I've had with the folks higher up in the organization, they were trying to model the weight/feel of flatware made when the USA started. I'd say: mission accomplished! ^_^

Oneida's top line patterns are now made in Vietnam and the quality seems comparable to their old USA made flatware. I just added some new Marquette and am pleased with it so far, although I wish it was still made in the USA. Liberty's factory was the USA Oneida factory. I ordered some Liberty samples today because I'm impressed with the company.

I can't wait to get a set. The Arellanos from Kensho Quest on YT mentioned Liberty. We're using what the in-laws bought us at IKEA with some stragglers from lost sets. It's annoying that there's no uniformity and the hard water stains them. Nonetheless I should be grateful we have metal to eat with and not plastic or going barehanded, like in some countries.

I can respect your perspective, and, yes, you are right, we should be glad for what we do have.

    1) Are the round soup spoon handles a bit short in a man's hands? All the spoons in this set seem shorter than my different manufacter (old set). Yet the Forks are the exact same meassurements and weights. Go figure. 2) Are the bowls on the table spoons large enough? Or do you find for soups or chili you are going to the Round bowl spoons?

Unless you are an individual of a particularly large stature, ALL of the Liberty Tabletop flatware pieces should be appropriately apportioned for an adult male or female.
One thing you have to keep in mind is the intention of both the designer and the design. It is my opinion that Liberty Tabletop made design choices that hearken to similar proportions found in flatware from what was common in the early days of the United States through the early 20th century. With that said, you may find that pieces more closely matching flatware sets of yesteryear versus those of today.
Raechel, unless you are having a formal dinner, you can use whatever piece of flatware you wish for whatever reason you choose. Having used our Betsy Ross set for more formal occasions and everyday use, I can tell you that each piece has flawlessly performed for their designed use and for whatever miscellaneous uses for eating we have thrown at them.
