I really enjoyed this!!! So fun! I got myself a Sori Yanagi fork and an Arne Jacobsen spoon before choosing one set and I think I’ll get the Yanagi dessert set instead as the spoon and fork are smaller (and you mentioned the regular ones were too wide) so thanks!!!
Danny! I think with your really special skills in filming life you should make a movie in a vain of japanese film Little Forest (Summer/Autumn, Winter/Spring). It certainly could be something
I'm a bit fascinated with flatware, too. I agree that Liberty needs to work on their designs. I favor some of the classic styles that aren't too ornate such as Oneida's Marquette or Reed & Barton's Country French (both formerly made in USA but now made in Vietnam, although the quality still seems good; 18/10 (much better than what is made in China).. Except for their very plain patterns, Liberty's just aren't elegant imo. The quality is excellent and they are made in America which is a plus.
I'm so impressed with all the platinum star viewers... if you know, you know.
Danny, Thank you for the insightful video and the shout out to Liberty Tabletop, the only manufacture of flatware in the USA!
It brings me a ton of joy to know you saw this obscure piece about your flatware. I've been a silent fan for years 😅
@@DannyPops I'm a fan of Liberty, too. I just wish they'd work on their designs.
I love people who dive deep into the details of things! Great video, although I haven't thought much about cutlery before. Platinum for me 👍🏻
I get a platinum star, actually two because we both watched. it was great fun.

Thanks for obsessing about flatware with me! Aggh, I need to look at the dessert set now.

Thank you for the great review! Can I find out where you bought the Sori Yanagi flatware?

Watching you hold silverware was painful.
Great video! I think I need to upgrade my cutlery, my forks are inconsistent and have some overly sharp prongs on some 🪡
