Hi this is a detailed video on how I make my Body butter. This butter is creamy and very moisturizing. It melts in contact and quickly absorbs to your skin. Leaving your skin feeling soft and moisturized all day.
Ingredients: Mango Butter, Apricot oil, grape seed oil, Arrow root, Micah for colorant and my natural secret fragrance 🤫 🤞🏽💝
Measurements: ➡️THIS WAS A BIG BATCH LOL⬅️
Mango Butter 24oz
Apricot oil 7oz
Grape seed oil 7oz
Arrowroot 1 tablespoon (takes that greasy feel away)
Colorant Micah- I don’t measure it. I use as much needed to get the color I’m going for
Fragrance 10grams
*** amount of fragrance depends on your batch size. Look at the label to see what’s the safest recommended percentage of use for skincare products.
Note**(You can substitute your carrier oils for which ever oils you prefer). Example Almond oil, Avocado, Olive oil and etc.... I choose to use these oil because work really well on all skin types and aren’t heavy.

Hi! I’ll be making an updated video this week with tips on changing the consistency. In order to help prevent the butter from becoming too solidified later after sitting put equal amounts of oil. However, to balance out the greasy feel add arrowroot powder to your butter. I’ll be making a video showing the difference. Thank you for watching!💓🤞🏽

Heyy I love this video just a question when you add equal part of butter and oils they don’t solidify? I’ve been practicing my recipe and they’ve been solidifying
Hi! With my body butter I add 90% oils. This prevents your butters from solidifying. It’s normal for your butters to be soft, fluffy and a little thick. However, it’s not supposed to be hard nor too firm. Watch my New DIY body butter video with my updated recipe. It’ll answer most of your questions.

Hi can you tell me if your fragrance fades once you put it on your skin? I’m trying to find a high quality natural fragrance oil supplier but I want the scent to last all day 🥺🥺
Hi if your making a more natural butter, using a natural fragrance oil. Most likely the scent won’t last all day. However, I’m sure there’s other natural alternatives for long lasting fragrance for your butters. I haven’t found any but I’ll post if I do. I’m currently using fragrances from naturesgardencandles.com and etsy.me/3k9xL0k

I have 500g already made base cream with ewax...pls how many grams Shea/mango butter do u think I should add to it to thicken it a bit (like a soft body butter)
Will the color disappear when you rub it on skin? Will color transfer to clothes?
Hi when used correctly. The color pigment will not dye your skin or clothing.
Hi how can you tell if your butter is grainy?
When the butter is grainy it feels like it’s mixed with sand or small rocks. Out the package it should feel smooth. To correct this issue just melt it as you would normally do during your prep.

Did you start with etsy? I have square but am scared to venture to etsy. A lot of fees. How is it working for you.
Hi, yes I started with Etsy and I’m still currently using Etsy. The fees aren’t too bad. It’s only .20 per listing. In a few months I made over a 300 sales. I sell more then Body-butters on Etsy. So this is probably why my store(s) has been so successful.

Hello hun I’m sorry your butter didn’t turn out the way you’d hoped. Did you add Arrow root powder? The Arrow helps balance out the grease it gives your butter a more luxurious feel. If you did add arrow root powder to your butter and the consistency was still too greasy. Then your welcome to cut back the amount of carrier oils used. I hope this tip helps.
