    That's a good reminder. I sometimes get mentally defeated when I'm the worst person in the lobby with a bunch of friends especially after many losses in a row, but I should see it as a way to sponge up as much as possible instead of caring about trying to get a match here and there.

      fighting games are like that especially. ever since i actually tried to get better at fighting games, i stopped worrying about losing. every mistake and loss is a learning moment.

      @@beaxhhousefan I'm getting there! Breaking the habit is hard but I'm actively seeing it and working against it now. Feelsgoodman

    Being the worst person in the room shows your growth aswell. It means you're going above your level. If you are always the best person in the room you're in the wrong room and not growing as a person or competitor

    This is really good advice for everything tbh. Not just video games. Nothing wrong with being the worst in the room, as long as you get better and keep practicing...

    This is how you get good at anything. Accept that you will suck, learn from other peoples mistakes, focus on improving. Most people are not willing to do this

    Be prepared for 99% of the time you ask a question for your opponent to just brush you off though because they either don’t have as much knowledge as it seems or they’re scared of eventually losing to you. Never underestimate the nefariousness and lack of confidence of these goblins

    Some people forget when you’re having fun with a game, then everything else will come naturally. Some games I’m tryna grind become unfun cause I lose a lot and thus not improving and making the same mistakes. When I forget about all that and have fun, I notice I hit crazy clips that I wouldn’t have otherwise.

      He means he won two matches in winners then lost and in losers lost again so he finish the event with a match score of 2-2

    I think Leff and Sonic are the only ones that won evo in different games. People really hated Leff and look at them now.

      They aren't. Daigo, Tokido, Infiltration, BAS, Perfect Legend. All winners in more than one game (not counting sequels).
      People include Justin Wong, but its cap

    • @theinktician
      @theinktician Год назад +1

      @@Dlord1PlayStation Because his only win outside of MvC was a teams event. People count it cause he's just That Guy - but the people i listed won in different series. Even Daigo has a GG evo under his belt. Jwong only has mvc2 and mvc3. Sequels. And those two games play a lot more like each other than SF2 and 3rd Strike (or even 2nd Impact) do to each other. From game speed, the way links connect, and game specific mechanics.
