10 arrests, 11 stolen cars recovered by multi-agency operation in Portland area

Ten people were arrested and officers recovered 11 cars in the Portland area during a multi-agency operation to find and recover stolen vehicles Friday night.

We have these groups in every area of oregon. So much car theft. A lot of times these cars go to the auction because they are too damaged.

I moved to PDX in 2021 for a job and the car thefts have left me feeling paranoid. The first post-pandemic thing I wanted to do was return to the gym but I’m not comfortable leaving my car unattended for an hour plus. To Uber over there and back would be $400+ per month. Vigilance only goes so far
