You are welcome! When I got to the house the power was knocked out, so the furnace stopped and the temp had already dropped to 66F, not bad, but Paisley, the dog has short fur and she could have gotten uncomfortable in a few more hours. I also rescued a hamster named Totoro. We took them both to our house because of the difficult driving and the police not wanting cars out on the road. Plus Paisley gets along great with our dog and was fun to have around!

As boring as I find today's cars, with literally everyone driving one flavor or another of the ubiquitous station wagon that we laughably call a 'Crossover SUV', I did have to appreciate today while tooling around in traffic that almost everyone has AWD and at least enough clearance to get over low snow drifts, so I don't have to help dig someone out every 2 blocks.

It always cracks me up when Portlanders go into Defcon Five mode over a little snow. I'm in Redmond where it's been snowing nonstop since last night. It's also below zero. Nobody is panicking, it's not fun but we will get through this like always

this is what is looks like when you have to fill up blank hours. Good grief - I was out delivering papers in the midwest when I was a teenager at 20 below zero. And the snow was usually much deeper than this. What has happened to people - normal weather is now a crisis worthy of breathtaking pretty people.
Seriously this new station everyone that works there sounds like an NPC and they cracked out of their minds. It’s just cold winter.
