Bonjour et merci pour cette vidéo.
    Quelle température ?

What should be AIR and HEAT setting for removing SMD components, especially MOSFETs?

I set the hot air intensity low and the temperature as high as possible (480 degrees Fahrenheit). If the wind is strong, it will blow small parts around, and if the hot temperature is low, it will take a long time to remove the parts. Applying heat to a part for a long period of time can also damage the surrounding parts. I've shown you how to replace the SMD parts, you need to find a method that works for you. For reference, my hot air gun model is the 862D+, which I bought from Amazon. Thank you.

@@E-Tek-ug3zn Nice I go with same amount +/- Depends on component - but seems like we both on the cheaper end of Hot Air Machines ( thou I might be wrong.. but that nozzle ) :P
PS: I do cover Capacitors with proper tapes - its either the heat or the Damn Nozzle if its to near a bigger component Im trying to remove.

@@artursobkow2680 In my experiments, covering the capacitor with aluminum foil didn't work well. Please watch my experiment video. Thanks.

I think this is a load of hot air.
    Just kidding 😂

why do you assemble without cleaning the solder?

    • @E-Tek-ug3zn

I always cleaned the PCB after soldering. This video shows clean PCB only the first replaced component. This is because the same movement shows boredom to the viewers watching the video. Thank you for your interest in my video.

This method will soon be used to marry regular drives to new Apple Macs, to keep them from destroying their computers as they will soon have software that tells the owner their stupid drives are nearly full.
