When I played this mod in 2018 it wasn't as broken, I think it has something to do with the latest updates in Gmod and the fact that the creator doesn't really update the mod
I think the creator is putting all his dev time into a new HL1 mod.

i had the same glitch in sandbox and fixed it by verifying game files
In my 200 hours of Gmod, and probably 1000+ videos watched of it, I have never seen it break this badly

1:00 That's Source engine for you. If a physics prop moves even a little bit then it becomes near impossible to jump from. This quirk is the reason why I HATE it when map makers have you jump off of props because I know how miserable it can be.

2:49 someone made an add on than re enables accelerated bhops. It’s a damn life saver, a server I play in I don’t have noclip so bhopping is how I get around.
Wow, I have honestly never seen the campaign break in ways like this before, but it all allows for a comedic experience I guess. Also, yeah, I'm the one who ported and maintained this gamemode ages ago, so hi! The gamemode was originally designed for Garry's Mod 12 so it has some design choices based around that, it'd be better to use a gamemode that is fit for purpose with Garry's Mod 13 like Lambda. Ever since a thing called Life™ came into play and having less time to do things I wanna do, I don't maintain the gamemode anymore and have archived it since (however any freelancer can pick it up if they want to, but I'd just recommend looking at the Lambda gamemode if you want HL2 co-op in Garry's Mod.)

synergy bugs are the bane of my existance, i was playing with my friend, the cars would keep falling off the voids, the combines would infinitely spawn and the physics engine sometimes decided to just break and made everything float forever or fall off the world
