    Why would the thenear part of my palm also be sore and sensitive to touch?

    • @Jifnei
      @Jifnei 2 года назад +6

      Sounds more like carpal tunnel syndrome

    • @Screwsandrods
      @Screwsandrods 2 года назад +1

      @@Jifnei had an EMG after having spine surgery and they claimed very little Carpal tunnel more tenosynovitis I believe.
      Heading to a neurologist again to figure it out. My arms are also sensitive to touch.
      Sucks to be in pain.
      🤦🏼‍♀️

      @@Screwsandrods I’m sorry to hear that. It very much does. Was the spine surgery absolutely necessary?

    • @Screwsandrods
      @Screwsandrods 2 года назад +1

      @@Jifnei unfortunately yes bc I was dealing with cervical kyphosis which was a congenital deformity and there was a chance of it helping my hands and thumbs but it didn't.
      I felt very defeated but after surviving a wound infection and then catching MRSA at the hospital and 8 weeks on Home IV infusion I’m still on a journey to find out what this is.
      It could be pain from inflammatory arthritis and Psoriatic arthritis which I’m was diagnosed with a few years ago.
      How about you, what’s your story and how are you doing today?

    • @Jifnei
      @Jifnei 2 года назад

      @@Screwsandrods Wow the diagnosis is very interesting and sounds like a pretty uncommon condition. It’s inevitable to take big risks in life. How functional are you after your full recovery if you don’t mind me asking?
      I’m studying to be a chiropractor so I’m trying to learn about as many pathologies as possible. On that note, I’m on the other side of treatment where I’m against going under the knife. Subsequently, I do recommend chiropractic as it is holistic and nervous system centered. Treatment may be contraindicated due to your past history but it’s always worth a shot.
      You seem very well versed in medical topics.
