I always add one even if I know I’m not going to break it. It’s so wonderful to know that I can clean the screen with any ol’ cloth and not worry about damaging the actual system. I can’t stand fingerprints, but it feels inevitable while playing the switch.

My advice? Buy a switch travel case for 30$. With it you can store everything in one case. Your games, charger, docking station, switch and hdmi cable. I’m of to a hotel at the beach just now for a couple of nights with my gf. We took the entire thing and it fits in my backpack. We can just hook up the switch to the tv at the hotel to play some mario kart after pool closes. I mean It’s probably the best thing to get. Anything else your small case is good enough. I mean what place are you planning to go that doesn’t have somewhere you can put it to charge? I mean if you’re gone to a place where you are going to play 5+ hours I think your probably going to travel right?
I just bought a skull and co case for the switch for 22 bucks and it’s similar minus the magnetic battery pack. But I’ll just either buy a portable battery or just bring a usb c charger for the car

If you buy a certain bundle, it comes with a wall brick that is a dock & comes with a usb c-usb c cable. Do some research before assuming its a deal breaker.
@@bryancartagena3286 I did do the research, why would I buy an additional dock when I have a perfect original one that can dock with the switch. Hence why it's a deal breaker since I don't need to buy the bundle which costs more to get a dock when I do have the old one. that's counter intuitive. Most cases are dockable anyways and this one not being dockable is still a deal breaker if you gonna buy a new dock.

So I was originally a backer for this one when it was on Kickstarter, I can tell you it was a whole issue of just having to wait for nearly three months to get it in hand and even then the battery issues were starting to get reported
Me too. That’s the thing with Kickstarter though, is you have to go into knowing it’s risky. All dates are an estimate and not guaranteed. So, waiting was annoying but expected.

I sawed a satisfye grip in half and epoxy it back together to fit my new 3ds XL. I can't believe the people at satisfye won't make one for the 3ds line.
For me, its the Satisfye grip. I think the switch is pretty comfortable to play on its own, but they grip makes it far more enjoyable! Newer version can also be docked, which is a nice benefit.
I'd recommend checking out the Satisfye grip, if you have larger hands. I've yet to try out the switch lite varient so, it will probably be smaller. Having inter-changable grips are extremely nice, but saying that I have big hands, the grips are usually put on the larger side anyways.
Just get unofficial joy cons not made by Nintendo. They won't drift and will have more comfortable shapes to hold the console in in handheld mode. Your going to need them once your joy con starts drifting.
@@farisakhtar4824 you see here, I have no problem fixing my joy-cons. I like my grip, plus having amiibo support. Those controllers, unless there's been an update recently, still drift. Not as often, but they still do.

Some do feature gyro and amiibo support too (I think Nyxi’s joy pad pro was also one that had all of that plus wireless support for tabletop/dock play). Some companies are also already shipping with that new magnetic/contactless joystick units that people claim would make them joycons drift-proof but yeah.
Correction: one of the best things about the OLED Switch is the kickstand. On the base model it’s super flimsy and on mine it stopped holding after a month or so (and I’ve had it for 5, almost 6 years).
I like the fact that the handles are interchangeable separately. My right hand is significantly larger than my left due to a mass on my palm. I haven't seen much of anything like that.
I'd definitely pick the fixture s1 screw joycons,use a pro controller, adjust your screen angle depending on position, and it's an easily detachable stand that lets you charge while you play whether attached or not....no other accessories needed.
I'm a fan of Satisfye. Like a huge one, since its without a doubt the most pefect grip I've ever came across in any handheld console. Hsving said that...I fear for it since this G-thing honestly seems VERY cool indeed.
It's blocking the console vents on the back, just as the dock station, it is not recommended to play during long periods of time if you don't want to shorten your console life span, but the extra battery seems to imply otherwise...

For me it’s the pro controller. I primarily play docked and having a normal feeling controller legitimately makes the difference between me playing or doing something else
My hands are still too big for that and I don't need the extra weight added to it. Just get the Satisfye grip. It weighs almost nothing, is actually a good comfortable grip for big hands, and a quarter of the price.
You can get a rechargeable carry case that can be user for the steam deck too woth like a 10 to 15kmah with 12 game cards slots it may not have your handles but you can always get just a dif handle

I would probably just go with a holding case for easier transportation and protection. Switch is really not as uncomfortable as people make it out to be, unless you're playing co-op games using single joycon as a controller.

If you just want handles, go for the Spigen case. It has raised handles and makes it comfortable to hold, but doesn't add too much weight.

It completely changed how I played the switch without being a cumbersome brick.
Nintendo sells grips for your hand it comes with different joycon rubbers as well(it’s like $40 tho)
The hori split pad to replace the joy cons would be my choice besides a screen protector.
Skull & Co. grip clears this.
The accessory I would use the most would be the Nyxi Hyperion or the Nyxi Wizard
My advice? Pick up an oled and the best accessory you can get for that thing is a good ol Picofly and a buddy with a soldering iron.

Best accessory for me is a Zelda controller, or the SNES case I have on it
For me it’s the 8bitdo arcade stick to play shmups and fighting games! I do recommend modding the buttons to Sanwa!

I would probably just go with a holding case for easier transportation and protection.
Switch is really not as uncomfortable as people make it out to be, unless you're playing co-op games using single joycon as a controller.
