    Love what your doing man...thanks for the info. The brass brush is good and all but what about the breach o-ring seal? Arent, you worried about ripping it out or damaging it.

    Good vid. Just heads up rifling and the whole barrel itself on airguns are more delicate than firearms. I'd get a patchworm or something similar that doesn't have hard metal on it. Maybe I'm paranoid but hard metal that could touch rifling in my airguns scares me, plus patchworm just works awesome. I know I'm a schtickler. Good stuff though

    will you eventually buy the gauntlet in .25? it would be awesome to see the comparison with the .22

      I am actually going to pass on the 25cal Gauntlet, main reason is because I would always have to order ammo(cost) instead of getting it local

    how long do you let them sit in Hoppes and then what, wash with water and dry?

    Is the Beeman Chief choked?
    How many pellets can one shoot before the rifle needs another cleaning? 15 or more?

    • @STKO2011
      @STKO2011  5 лет назад

      Last I remember it's 5.49mm so I guess a mild choke but not much to affect accuracy... I think I've only brushed it maybe twice in almost 1.5yr...hard to say it's really different per Pellets

      @@troybelanger974 currently I would say Hoppes but make sure pellets are padded down and dried off before shooting so orings don't get damaged

    Hey James I remember seeing a video that you put out not long ago saying that you really didn't need to clean your Barrel that much because pellets didn't leave the residue in the barrel like a powder gun wood I thought I remember seeing a video saying that you're actually cleaning the barrel when you're shooting the pellets through it I saw that I'm one of your videos not long ago

    • @STKO2011
      @STKO2011  5 лет назад

      Yeah I did say that, since I am always switching pellets that method didn't work cause I couldn't see the full potential for each pellet I was testing ... I use that method for my Beeman Chief since I only shoot 15.89 jsb through it

  • @cvcoco
    @cvcoco 5 лет назад

    Ok...first, on cleaning pellets with the vinegar solution, and later with No.9, do you fill the tins and let them soak and then drain in a colander? And then you are cleaning the barrel every 15 shots?

    • @STKO2011
      @STKO2011  5 лет назад

      Just soaking Crosman pellets with HOPPEs 9 until color changes then roll around on paper towel to remove excess oil... with the Crosman HP pellets yes 15 shots

    First video you say no need clean the barrel, now say hit it with a rough brush,, then acid bath,, Think your info is not correct.
