Couldn't agree more! I'm of marriagable age and I want emphasize on the fact that people nowadays are very superficial. They only want to attach themselves to people who "look" good or who appear to be wealthy.

Too many of that type of people and families, they measure ppl's success thru material possessions and status but never the deen, the true deen based on the Quran and Sunnah. Today, ppl look at ppl who follow the sunnah as weird or extremist..and i truly asked Allah to keep me in the company of the true followers.

Jazakum Allah khair for this advice! Many people forget the importance of Deen and akhlaq when it comes to marriage! And they end up with broken homes, kids who lost their purpose of life.

@@zahralilian4776 when i read the stories of the followers of our prophet Muhammad peace be upon him how they reverted to islam and the way they found the truth that brings an amazing feeling inside me and i still find that feeling when i see someone saying the shahada and revert to islam i love him from the bottom of my heart
@@SaidMetiche-qy9hb not a descriminate my brother there's no difference between a born muslim and a revert except on the basis of personal piety and righteousness... it's just that i have a special feeling towards them when i see someone revert to islam i feel so so so happy especially when i see them tryin to seek more knowledge and learn islam, then they call to islam and live for islam..i love that

We need a fitnah like that of the Jews, to get over ourselves and of that high-horse. Maybe if we are in a Camp like the ughuri's then we can stop being arrogant as Bani Isra'EEL! Step by Step we are like Ahl Al Kitaab in every way!
Do not ask for a fitnah just as the Hadith of the prophet salAllahu'alayhi wasallam where a man asked Allah for the punishment of the akhirah. The messenger of Allah commanded him to instead say " Rabbana aatina fidunya hasanat wa fil akhirati hasanat wa kina athaab anNar "
well high standards is a cultural thing and has nothing to do with islam. our religion teaches just to choose a spouse rich in faith, manners and taqwa and not the one with the biggest car. it’s nowadays fathers asking unrealistic dowries from the groom. this might influence the daughters and they think that only a 50k mahr will make the marriage successful when we all know the less money you waste, the bigger the blessings. some people strive for dunya only and don’t think about halal rizq or blessings of Allah azza wa jal. we have already enough fitan going on and ummah is still in the old same heedless state. that’s why our situation isn’t changing.
