I was 10 years old when he passed away so suddenly. I remember it very well. Grew up listening to Elvis and I'm 55 now....infatuated with him my entire life. What a wonderful human being he was.....forever missed.
Everyone thinks of his show as a "concert", but it seems that it was so much more and so much grander than than that. Most of us here are young, and lived too late to see this man. We couldn't possibly know the true energy of his shows, unfortunately. But it wasn't just a musical act from what I can see. It was also a dance act, it was performance art, with martial arts peppered throughout, a bit of comedy act, and a circus attraction of sorts; all wrapped in the perfect package that is Elvis. HE was what pioneered the gold-standard for most Vegas shows today.
Scotty Moore was probably Page's biggest influence because Page credits Scotty's guitar solo in "Baby, let's play house" to be the reason why he got into music in the first place.
Elvis is always great! No matter how long it's been, people will be talking about him 50 years from now! He was unique, unbelievably talented, and off the charts charisma. Wish I'd seen him live. ❤🙏
The description says Full HD but it's only 720p. Still, it's so amazing when they recorded on film because, decades later, we get to watch in HD. It's so clear that I my mouth dropped open when I saw that this was in 1970 - I was only 2 years old!
Those musicians are next level to slow it down to Elvis's pace almost instantly, thats very impressive
Elvis Presley songsy
I quickly learned Elvis didn’t move to the beat of the band… The band moved to the moves of Elvis.
There will never be anyone as great as Elvis
Long liv the king
He is the best way to listen to music 🎶🎶
@Michael Jones lol who tf are you?
I wish I would’ve been alive when he was! Such great music!!
