Even though I am not limber enough to do some of these positions Eric demonstrated, I like his professional manner/attitude since it motivates me to stay fit & exercise safely.
Great videos! I have a couple quick questions for anyone who may be able to help. First of all, following the five second contraction, are you supposed to hold the stretches for just five seconds as well? And how many times would it be recommended to repeat each stretch? Thanks!!
Really helpfull video guys! I would like to see this kind of videos but for the diferents disciplines. For example, im a juggler and i need to intensify the streching in my back and shoulders and im not really sure if im doing it properly. Thanks for your videos!
Hi cirque du soleil, the video was (in my opinion) a little too epic with the special effects. Furthermore thanks for making it! It motivates me to do more exercising. P.S Have u ever heard of the sport Vaulting? (the competition one -> not the circus kind)
Google Orthostatic Hypotension. It is when your body fails to adjust the blood pressure in your brain, when you change orientation from horizontal to vertical.
Exactly, the warning is about not cutting off the blood flow to your brain. Actually, this position is so comfortable that you might overdo it even if you don't have a prior medical issue. Watch out for that extreme neck hyperextension (not great long-term even if it feels so good).
Too bad. The LOUD music and fast clips are really disturbing. Sometimes it's even hard to hear what he is saying, just listen at 7:21! really bad. Especially annoying if you watch several of these clips. There is at least 1min 30 sec+ of unrelated footage and music on this clip, I think even more on some of the other clips. Redo, and talk to the editing guy. Sorry, but I'm unsubscribing unless changed.

Thanks for the kind words!
Thank you so much for your awesome video I've been looking for something to help me organize my mental state around stretching!
Yass this video is super helpful, I've started doing circus as a hobby and this will help a lot : )
I'm happy that this video helped you Phoebe!
I'm not an expert in contortion but for sure, if you can take classes on a consistent basis, you'll get better results
Can you make a video that's just for getting your splits? Like, with stretches? That would be really helpful to me.

When performers have sprains/strains what is usually recommended to help them maintain or get back their flexibility?
Could you go over back stretching?
I'm gonna use all these workout and stretching videos to try and loose weight 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Debbie, are you talking about pole vaulting?
Just watched the horse vaulting video...never seen this before. Interesting!
Eric Saintonge Hope you will ever do something with vaulting (although I know you don't use animals in cirque du soleil.)
What does he mean "Don't do this stretch if you get dizzy.?
I think, maybe, you'll fall off the ball. Or, maybe, feel nauseous? And fall one foot to the floor.

I thought it might be something medical.
