Sephiroth for me is the best villain/fallen hero in history, right up there with Darth Vader, an One winged angel is right up there with the imperial march, even tops it. This version is epic! Never getting tired of one winged angel, and its many forms, may it keep coming for all eternity, and never be a memory!
I'm really glad you had such an emphasis on percussion with this. I feel like the powerful percussion of the OG one winged angel is lost alot of times with official orchestral versions of the song

That moment when even the game developers are making and confirming our dumb fan jokes gives me the warm fuzzies, like they love and laugh at these dumb jokes as much as the rest of us do!

While I eventually accepted it, I've never been the biggest fan of George Newbern's Sephiroth (I always thought Paul Dobson, who was Naraku in Inuyasha, should've got it). I like how the new voice is smoother.
What still elevates this over even Dancing Mad Tier 4 personally is that even the latter still has the rush of the desperate final struggle to save the world. That's not here. AFAIK, except maybe FF15, but not even, this remains unique among all mainline FF final bosses, and some secondary ones like X-2, in the vibe it's giving. You are all fucked. You're all in big trouble. You are all way out of your league and horribly outmatched. No amount of anime physics or powers will save you from this entity, who has transcended the need for such. This is someone kilometers about your weight class. The image of the entire solar system's destruction may not be real, but it will feel every bit as real. The only reason you don't die from such an extravagant display of power is because you can't fear despair and helplessness if you're dead. And for Sephiroth, he would rather have you live in despair than die peacefully.

This is the kind of remakes I like. The ones that stay true to the original, nice job.
This is great! I like how there are elements of the AC/Dissidia version, but they supplement the original melodies rather than replace them.
