While I believe this is a great video discussing what it is like to work as a materials engineering in research the research and development portion of industry, there many other duties that materials engineers do that were not highlighted. These could be tasks such as preparing proposals, project supervision, evaluating costs, and writing reports. A video containing the full spectrum of what materials engineers do would be helpful for someone who is considering it as a major or is trying to figure out what they would like to do once they graduate.

What’s the difference between chemE and MS&E? Do both give you the skills and knowledge for going into nanotechnology and biotechnology?

They both overlap in knowledge. Chemical Engineers can specialise in materials as well as traditional process engineering
