The 2k3 Miyamoto Usagi is my favorite version, but design wise, I like the 80’s one best. Also, fun fact, the creator of Usagi’s favorite turtle is Leo and friends with Kevin Eastman, which explains all the crossovers and why Usagi gets along with Leo the most.
NECA sending out stuff still? Of course they do but not for people like me that calls em out on their shit lol. The dino is Spot. It was his "pet" and was later brought into the later series but not the original 80s series.
I don't collect any TMNT but this guy has a great design that looks like it'd fit in with any cartoon style characters. I'm tempted to pick him up to team up with my plunderlings!
My brother had the entire comics collection of Lone Wolf and Cub. When I got my hands on it (early 90s) I read each number for Usagi. Lone Wolf was just a distraction :)
Love it. Can’t wait for mine to arrive. Watch the Netflix show. It’s different from the comics. But I’m just glad Stan’s getting the support and attention.
The long band is for the cloak. It comes with a smaller band that is barely visible for the swords. I noticed you didn't show the smaller band with accessories. It's easily missed you may want to check for it incase you tossed it out or dropped it
This is probably the best figure NECA has released for any line. The articulation is improved and the design and paint and execution are incredible. The only one that might be better is the live action Tokka.
I think Tokage is the dinosaur name. Like Paul said, from the Usagi comics; they’re everywhere. Little, friendly pet like dinos. Thanks for reviewing Usagi, one of my favs!
I was supposed to sell my soul for total power, but the masters of the black arts couldn’t accept this. I had already sold at least 50% of my soul for clues how to get this figure OMG
Good luck finding these at your local Target if you're in a landlocked state. I can't find a local retailer that isn't selling the suggested retail price. Prices are all over the place ($50 - $120).
PLEASE compare this to Howard the Duck when you do that review. They’re nearly the same price point and both small characters packed into a line of larger figures but Usagi seems worth the money with the paint, articulation and accessories while Howard barely moves and only comes with an unrelated head in a jar and a BaF piece.
It's not these days figure prices have always done that. I've been collecting since the early 80's. Figures where $5 then and almost $30 now. Trust me I've seen the periodic increases. It's normal but the newer collectors haven't experienced it yet.
@@docessex943 indeed.. even if I wanted the whole wave.. I'm forced to choose the one I really wanted.. I think it has some good though.. it requires me to discipline my spending..
LOL, I was thinking if toys were alive like in Toy Story fashion, how much they would probably dislike being man handled and when you do your figure articulation review.

The dinosaur is named Spot.

The dinosaur was from the Usagi Yojimbo comics--you wouldn't have known about it from watching TMNT, Shart.

spot is the lizard's name
theres a small elastic band included with the robe and robe belt , the elastic band is to put around usagi
You are a great youtuber, keep up the great work!
yeah the dinosaur was never in the cartoon, but a tribute to the original Usagi comics. Great addition.
Hoping my local Target gets these.

Shoot my local comic book/ toy store sells this exact figure for 200$
You can unplug the ears and swap the ears between the head sculpts
There should have been a all elastic loop for the swords
I don't collect cartoon figures, but I may have to get this.
Awesome figure, I love it
I managed to get one at target. I don't collect the whole line. It will be my first Neca TMNT cartoon figure.
Love more TMNT figures

Where'd you get that rad diorama base?
Yeah, every figure these days tends to increase prices.. as a collector Im inclined to be very selective.. thanks for keeping us updated, man..
