As soon as we jumped the fear went away and you just feel adrenaline and excitement. Also helped that the guy I was tandem with had 300 jumps as army paratrooper and 200 jumps as a civilian.
His 501st jump the chute didn't open. As we said, statistics shows you that your odds decrease with every jump. :) odds are better then being struck by lightning twice while watching the movie twister indoors.
It's probably because it's so loud and windy your body is literally saving you from doing something dumb or dangerous , humans have good defense without us realizing 😂😂😂

I want to see her reaction on the ground. I used to fly hang gliders out of Wallaby ranch in Florida. I had a friend who asked me to take him out for a tandem flight. He was like this right before going up but we talked him into going anyway. After he came down he was literally jumping up and down screaming about how awesome it was.
Never skydived in my life. I wanted to when I was younger. Wish I would have back then because now I'm older and have health issues. It's okay. I love watching other people get scared or be overjoyed. ❤
He's done it a thousand times and he's not going to want to fail himself... You're in good hands. Kinda funny that he just walked her to the edge and jumped though 😂
It's a classic. I've watched so many screaming tandem students cursing out the instructor as he smoothly leaves, then on the ground they excited to go again. Fear is a wild thing.

@Lovejoy1173 you fall at 120 mph but as you’re falling everything seems to be going in slow motion about the same if you stick your hand out the window going down the road. It was an amazing feeling after you get over the nervousness of jumping out of the plane
When she slowly reached for something and her hand could barely grasp. I know that fear. Like you almost pass out. Your senses are firing on all cylinders. Your heart stops beating and is beating way too fast all at the same time.

My question is why did he force her to go out there when she was resisting . If this was her boyfriend that was wrong and if it was the skydiver himself, he should have listened to what she said. I hope this young girl did not have a bad experience I used to think I wanted to do this until I met a 25-year-old girl who came into our office when I was working in an orthopedic surgeon’s office. The patient had sustained completely broken bones in her knee , because the company who was offering the sky diving had not shown her how to properly land . At that moment my desire to do this was “over”. I am an earth sign so for me, I’ll keep my feet planted on the ground as long as I can.
Not jump is the worst option. After everybody jump the airplane needs to go down REALLY fast, the pilot needs to take a look in everybody and keep an eye in the one with problems. She will fucking hate stay inside, the fear of death will be bigger inside the plane because your body will acceleratte/decelerate a lot of times and there is no need to have someone screaming and kicking while you try to make a safe return.
