Let’s not gloss over how flawless her recovery from the faulty shoulder rest was, she was brilliant and poised, and moved on from what (for many people) would have been a complete tragedy. Also, she played beautifully. Brava maestra!

Really good. And wasn’t Schubert a great tunesmith? A pity he never wrote a violin concerto but if he had, Sayaka Shoji would be the one to play it. Such beautiful lyricism!

매우 훌륭한 연주입니다. 아쉬운 것은 슈베르트를 파가니니처럼 연주했다는 것입니다. 이 곡은 테크닉보다는 물 흐르듯, 노래하듯 부드러운 보잉이 어울리는 곡이라 생각합니다. Carolin Widmann의 연주와 비교 감상했는데 Widmann의 연주가 더 마음에 와 닿습니다.
