Have you heard about the crazy changes to Thunder Belt on the Mobile Legends Advance Server? It now grants hybrid defense EVERY TIME you hit an enemy hero! But is there a limit to how much defense you can stack?
Join us in this video as we test the NEW Thunder Belt and see if we can break the stack limit! We'll be using Layla to see how high her defense can go, and then explore how heroes like Johnson and Edith can benefit massively from the new item.
Can we turn them into invincible tanks or one-shotting machines? Watch to find out!

imagine in a pro game this even reaches like 500 stacks because of how back and forth the game is
That's like 33+ minutes of nonstop hero on hero combat, ignoring recalling to regen and travel time. More likely 100-200 stacks in a match if it's your first item.
@@jenjenhocho3188 especially how in pro scene, "useless" little fights rarely happens since there is no objective. In open match, we'd fight for literally no reason just for seeing an enemy lol.

Here's the calculation:
60 / 4 = 15 stacks per minute
Normal games last about 10 to 15 minutes. But in reality, building the item will take a few minutes. Let's say you were able to build the item in the first 5 minutes. We can potentially get around 75 to 150 stacks on a normal game or less. On a 20-minute game, you will have 225 stacks, IF you have FULLY maximized stacking every 4 seconds.
But then you'll have to buy the equipment to start doing it
15 mins game, half of that time is farming and pushing. And if your team clashes a lot, the game will end more or less in about 10 mins. So having it as your 1st item, reaching 50 stacks is already an accomplishment.
You need to continuously hitting the target every 4 seconds so yeahh it's hard unless you are poke hero like rafa or Angela valir
Don't forget every hero have different cooldown. You can get multiple stack by hitting more enemy Heroes

If thunder belt passive also gains stack when hitting enemies using skills, then yeah that would make more sense. Problem with thunder belt getting stack by using a basic attack is that tanks obviously has pretty poor basic attack range
it is bad for roam tanks. but for exp tanks like tank arlot, this could be abused

Radiant Armor: I got nerfed, but I have a total of 172 Magic Defense at max stacks.
Blade Armor: As the item with the highest Physical Defense, I will help you. (90 Physical Defense)
Dominance Ice: You still need me for Anti-Heal bro. (70 Physical Defense)
Warrior Boots: Don't forget me! (42 Physical Defense)
Tank Emblem: I wonder how much Hybrid Defense will this guy have? (10 Hybrid Defense)
Firmness: Tenacity? (6 Hybrid Defense)
Tenacity: Combined with my 15 Hybrid Defense, this guy will have about 10582 Physical Defense, 10344 Magic Defense. And he can deal 20976 True Damage to enemies.
Yesterday, I faced great enemy Yu Zhong as jungle Gatotkaca that match, and I built him CE, Oracle, GoD, Twilight Armor, and Athena Shield/Radiant Armor, and I made the hardest game into easy game as MVP with this Gatot build
...and heck, I bet even this Gatot main "Well Played TV" will love it too

So Thunder belt is very useful in the first or the second item so it is already stacking up early and will be useful in late game.
But maybe it still depends because not every 4 seconds you can hit an enemy hero
except ALL items that are immediately useful in the EARLY game is a better first purchase. if you dont believe me, just try buying clock of destiny in high rank and watch how many people flame you.

where does it say he played for 11 hours and 6 mins? and also it wouldn't take that long if you get 40 stacks every 4 seconds. I didn't do the math but it wouldn't take any longer than 1 hour, impossible.

No need to half it, damage reduction scale is getting lower with more defs, that's why even with all those def stats enemy can still hit more than 6 damage (maybe with baxia and old radiant you can nullify it but you get what I mean right?)

I've discovered that Badang is one of the best heroes to abuse this. Everything he does will be a basic attack and considering his massive area of effect and control, you can potentially get 10-20 stacks in one team fight
