I don't know how much subscribing may help, but I did it anyway, but mostly because I DO like your content. I've been watching a few videos these days and I'm aware of why I'm subscribing. See... I'm a pilot, aircraft pilot (or used to be?), and in 2016 I was living with my fiancé (now wife) in a VERY small rented apartment, and the thing was that with the amount of flight time I had, I just could apply to a few airlines. I graduated from flight school with 220 hours, then I flew a little more, but no airline was hiring that time, so, keep this in mind: study aviation to become a commercial pilot is a very expensive career, so in order to make my dream profession come true, my family helped me a lot, my dad got a second job, my mom and my grandparents decided to move to small apartments, one for my mom and one for both of my grandparents, so they could sell our house. So, we were able to pay my studies, but with effort. And the majority of my classmates were wealthy people, so there was always this kind of ego floating in the air. "Smells Like Rich and Brats Student Pilots Spirit".
Anyway, those in the same position as me, with few flight hours, just kept flying from their pockets (or dad's pocket) and going to parties and all that crap. I had to work in a bookshop as a seller, I had to deal with all kind of customers. Anyone that has worked in retail could agree that is not the best thing, but as a pilot, what else could I do? Is not a profession that could put me in any office, 9 to 5 job. So there I was, doing my 9:30 am to 7:00 pm shift, every single day, with just ONE day free, any day but weekend, so I had no choice but choose a day as long as it wasn't from Friday to Sunday. One time, I remember very well, this guy came to the bookstore and asked for aviation books, I told him we didn't have any kind of aviation books, BUT, I gave him the name and address of different flight schools and I even told him the name of the books that had the content he was looking for.. "¿How do you know all of this?" He asked. "Well... I'm actually a commercial pilot". "¿So, why are you working here selling books?". I looked at him and I wasn't sure of how I had to answer... "Because Life, sir. Life happens."
It wasn't until April 2017 that I finally got my first aviation-related job in a Flight Club, not only as a Pilot, but I got to teach Aerodynamics, Physics, Weather Conditions and I was in charge of the Flight Simulator as an instructor. Then, just a year and a couple of months later, my grandfather died. I fell into a severe depression. So, when I had to go to the mandatory medical exam in order to keep my license active, I failed. I lost my license... and I haven't flown ever again since the end of 2018. So, one day, when I felt strong enough, I wrote a book. Then another one... then I already had eight books finished and a bunch of tales and short stories. I got published finally in January of 2022, so I guess now I'm a Writer... an Author. Life... life is the worst rollercoaster that exist, and you don't even get to decide when to step out.

People don't know that standing at cashier is physically taxing. It hurts the feet & back especially if you already have back problems. Luckily I was 20 years young when I was cashiering there. I still remember we had a new guy who wasn't very fit, they had him starting out as a cashier and the guy's shirt was drenched in sweat like 1/3 into the shift, and he was literally just standing there! One of the fellow cashiers said "he was just standing there and he's sweating like crazy" haha. I understood him sweating though because it is surprisingly physically taxing being a cashier! Once the shift gets busy though, you start to forget about the physical aspect.

Owing under $9000 isn't too bad. Many people don't realize they need to straighten up their finances until a much, much higher amount is reached.
Zero debt is so freeing. Just wait, you'll love it. Good luck!
I'm not the buggest Dave Ramsey fan, but his getting out of debt snowball method, book, is worth looking into.
    Or youtube him.
I'm a fan of his snowball method but not other parts of his stuff. But he is known to work for people who follow him .

I want to share my story: I worked 30 years at the lowest paid job in the US...The Military...1980 i was making $800 a month and my friends were making $1200 working at McDonald's. It took me a long time to save money. I got married and bought a house. 8 years later i was divorced and lost the house. I ended up $140,000 in debt with no end in Sight. I was still in the military and struggling day to day. It took me 17 years but I was able to pay back all my bills. I paid off my house i first bought and I ended up buying another house.

In my early 20s, I spent several weeks traveling by car through 11 states on the west coast of the USA. Back then, I often slept in the car and didn't know that you're not allowed to stand everywhere.
There are small electric kettles and rice stoves for the car. You could use them to make tea and coffee or prepare rice and noodle dishes.
I wish you every success and best wishes from Europe.

You can feel the changing weather and air and distinguish the appropriate times for walking, trips, etc

9k in debt is less of a disaster than I, as a new viewer, imagined. However, the interest and fees on that debt is disastrous. The 'debt snowball' is a motivational technique that really worked for me. Also, to assess your progress, look at the ratio of principal/interest payment that your current payment schedule yields. To make any progress your pricipal should go down, to make significant progress you should pay back manyfold in principal what you pay in interest (and other fees). Lastly a motivational reminder: your ability to pay off debt is numerically the same as your ability to save. Psychologically and emotionally they are polar opposites. In debt, you tend to eagerly wait the next paycheck. You want time to pass. With a healthy emergency fund and other savings your mind slows down and you have the mental strength to do more and live more. At least this has been my experience.

@nomadartistontheroad I did what you are doing for 4 years and I bought a house. I owed 56000. It's possible. Anxiety heals itself when you take long nature walks and pray. ❤❤❤❤❤pray 🙏 🙏

Can you get yourself a house sit here and there? That would help break up the routine.

Would you consider care work? Taking care of people with disabilities on live in basis pays very well where I am. Not sure about USA though.
